One of the challenges when reviewing restaurants is how to showcase exceptional places with the existing system. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars.
This restaurant is really something special. I am a big fan of tacos. I am also a big fan of birrieria. If you are like me, then you should absolutely try this place.
Located about 10 min from IAH Airport, this cozy restaurant serves some of the best tacos I have ever had. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. The staff are very kind and attentive. But the star of the show is the food. They have an amazing assortment of Mexican food options. However, as it is in their name, you should try the birrieria. You won’t be disappointed. Trust me.

I had a fantastic dining experience at this authentic Mexican restaurant! The portions were generous, offering great value for the price. The menu was diverse, with plenty of options for all tastes, including a thoughtful selection for vegetarians. The drinks were served in large portions and very reasonably priced, adding to the overall affordability. The flavors were spot-on, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. My server must have been really busy but forgot to bring us several items that I ordered and no check ins to see if we need refills or anything. The melon, horchata and hibiscus water could’ve been better they taste like 80% sugar. I ordered the torta with tomato and lettuce on it because it only comes with guacamole, onion and cilantro and they forgot that as well. The beef/res tacos were really good ! The menudo was also good the kids pizza and fries was okay my child didn’t eat it because the fries had like a tajin powder or something spicy on them for taste and the pizza was to crispy for a 2yr old. $72 on all of this photos below 🙂

My husband and I are DELIGHTED to have found this place. We started coming here earlier this year and we keep coming back for more. The food has been delicious every single time without a miss. They have such a diverse menu!! My favorite are the quesadillas de birria and the tacos de carnitas. They also make aguas frescas from SCRATCH!! They are sooooo refreshing. The portions are very generous and the pricing is very fair. This place has an outside patio with a kitchen that can also be rented for special occasions. 10/10, I love bringing my family here, highly recommend!!

Love the decor! Very colorful and full of funny sayings that entertain guests as you wait for your order. Complimentary Chips and salsa are great in flavor and spice. I ordered the ( beef ramen birria) I felt it needed a little more flavor and color but the Birria itself was very tender and tasty. The quesabirria was perfect My daughter ordered the fajita Panbazo to which we both gave ⭐️s . We shared a kids Fruta from the kids menu.

I know that some of the reviews mention service issues. That was not my experience at all. The manager checked up on our table, and we had no issues at all. Again, Martha was a great server and attended to our table with care.
It is a super easy Uber ride (10 minutes) from Houston’s Bush Intercontinental airport. Located inside the loop, it truly has it all, except the price tag.
I definitely recommend this establishment for all food adventurers, drink afficionados, and lovers of comida.

Disappointing experience. Poor service! I came for chilaquiles and added eggs and steak each an up charge but waited over 30 minutes for my dish, which arrived with burnt, hard chips instead of the traditional texture. We were largely ignored while the servers prioritized a family of regulars with visible favoritism whom we arrived seconds behind! Most concerningly, I authorized a $4 tip on my $42.16 bill, but discovered later they charged $5. Unauthorized tip alteration is unacceptable. I will not be returning.

Birria & Micheladas #3 had me excited walking in — the decor is super fun, with quirky clips on the walls and tall, playful glasses that made my horchata feel a little fancier (and yes, the horchata was good). The bathroom? Let’s call it semi-clean, but I’ve seen worse.

The quesabirria had potential — the meat was solid — but the consommé was flavorless, which is kind of the whole point, right? I’ve had better at gas stations with fewer vowels in their name.
The vibes were cute, but if they could get the food to match the aesthetic, they’d really have something. Right now? It’s more style than substance.

This meal was great and fun!!! It was my first time eating a barria taco and I must say I was very impressed, but the shrimp tacos and rice was amazing. Also, let me talk about the salsa it was hot & the right amount of spicy with fresh chips. The drinks were delicious and fun. The waiter was friendly, attentive and offered great suggestions from the menu. All in all we had a great time and meal. Thanks staff.

Let me start with saying the food is good, you can definitely find better around Houston. I got here at 3:03pm and got my food at 4:38pm to be exact. The service was HORRIBLE. I felt awful for the staff and other people around us. We all waited for extremely long times and upon arrival of the food it was warm as if it was just sitting there and i had to send my chilaquiles back the egg was so overcooked(i refused another plate i was too grossed out) the quesabirrias tasted like barbacoa which is a completely different dish/meat. I did notice some servers looking around almost scattered but there was plenty of tables left dirty for them to clean for people waiting- instead they sat people at dirty tables. They then had a minor pick up or clean the tables. The place has potential, but lacks good management.
