My first time here I love the food atmosphere was very nice and not a lot of people. It was quiet. I’m very content. I will definitely come back if you love Indian food. This is the place to visit.

I’ve been eating Indian food for over 40 years and this small restaurant in Red Bank offers superior food. The samosas are clearly homemade and delicious. I really enjoy their pakoras as well. Each entree is delicious. The homemade breads are excellent. They made and delivered a multicourse dinner for 12 to my home and everyone loved it. Finally I love to end a meal with their delicious homemade dessert and masala tea. Highly recommended.

An amazing discovery in RedBank!!! It took three years to create the vision that Nirmala had for the restaurant that serves the food she has wanted to share for over 25 years.
It is so worth the trip – delicious, authentic with the spice levels right on target.
She is a delight and treats customers like family. Can’t wait to come back – she made it extra special on my birthday eve

Can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. The food is DELICIOUS!! The owner is a gem, friendly and welcoming. She gave us great suggestions and we had an amazing meal.
The menu is varied, with lots of vegetarian choices. We tried naan three different ways (butter, chili, garlic) and all were outstanding. Generous portions. BYOB. Paid Street Parking which, in Red Bank, can be challenging.
Highly recommend, can’t wait to return!

Such amazing food – I cannot believe it took me more than a year to try this restaurant! I love Indian food and should have made it a priority to check this place out when it first opened. The owner overheard us discussing options (like levels of spice) and helpfully came over to make several suggestions. All of her suggestions turned out to be amazing – especially the fried cauliflower appetizer (and I usually do not like cauliflower). Every dish was so delicious. I highly recommend the lamb samosas and chicken korma and don’t miss the mixed naan bread basket which had a fruit naan that was spectacular! The owner even gave one person in our party who can’t handle spice a small, milder version of the dish everyone else wanted spicier. The service could not have been better. I cannot wait to go back!

Wanting to go for a long time, went on Memorial Day dinner time. Plenty of space so we’re seated right away. On street paid parking , plenty of parking nearby, but area can get busy. Food is pretty good, but we need to order it spicy (there is an American spicy and also a traditional spicy) order the traditional one if you can handle the heat. Paneer tikka wasn’t enticing and can be skipped, great curry and naan is pretty big. Decent portion size for entree and they all come with rice.

Nirmala’s greeting at the door started our night off perfectly- adding to the new, modern, super clean decor in a cute Red Bank space. Our wait staff offered wonderful suggestions ( who knew I would love the mango drink so much)? Delicious food, ee got all of our standards this time and we want to try the tandoori next.

Very delicious food and great service! Great assortment of traditional Indian dishes as well as unique dishes with an Indian twist. I am vegan and several dishes were easily able to be modified. My family is not vegan and they absolutely loved their dishes—especially the paneer fried rice.

We were vendors at the Red Bank Street Festival and happened to be set up right in front of this restaurant. The menu immediately caught our eye with its unique selection of dishes – we saw several options we had not come across at other Indian restaurants. We called in an order while packing up to take home, and we are so glad we did. The food was made fast and the staff were very kind. The food was absolutely incredible – bursting with rich, bold flavors. We highly recommend this spot and cannot wait to come back and try other dishes. On a side note, my husband ran in to use their restroom and it was spotless – a sign of a great restaurant.

We strolled in for lunch and were extremely happy to have done that. The curries were flavorful but the Naan and lachha paratha were especially delicious.
The family that runs the place is very welcoming and were happy to share with us their story which we really appreciated. All in all, very happy with our experience at Agra Indian Masala – a welcome addition to Red Bank restaurants.
