Went early evening on a weekend night for an Irish coffee which was delightful. Employees behind the bar chatted with us and made us feel welcome. Seemed to be lots of regulars.

Would not recommend unless you want to sit and talk. They dont have any music and no pool tables or anything to do there. But they do have low tables with comfy chairs. It’s more like a lounge with TVs. Its summertime and it’s very hot inside because they keep the doors open. It’s a very mixed crowd of age and ethnicity which I love but absolutely nothing to do but talk. They do have a big patio.

This place is incredible. You can tell a lot of love went into the design of the decoration. Beautiful woodwork and excellent service. It gets extremely busy weekend nights, so plan on that, and its small parking lot that it shares with the El Portal cantina next door.

McGarry’s Irish Pub is a favorite of ours because of the wonderful service the staff, management, and security provide. The bartenders are very skilled in the profession. It is a very comfortable and clean pub.

If I could give no stars I would. DO NOT come to this place and if you do make sure to keep an eye out for yourself and others around you. I went here for a drink with some friends and That was all I can remember having. I don’t remember leaving the bar and when I looked at my credit card the next day I had been charged $186 that I don’t remember signing for. I don’t understand how the bar staff can continuously serve someone who isn’t even coherent enough to even walk out alone let alone still rack up a tab that high. After speaking with multiple people I have come to find out I wasn’t the only one this has happened to, There are more who have gone in and had one maybe two drinks and then not remembering anything afterwards or being charged a ridiculous amount. So beware and be careful because you never know what can happen at this place.
