Food was decent but the staffs and their behavior ruined it for us. We were group of 10 with 4 kids and they simply denied to Join tables. They had enough space for tables to be joined. They were not helpful or accommodating at all.

Came to Vermont for a ski trip and this was right across from our hotel. Ordered take out and got the Yellow Curry with Tofu Mild and white rice. Veggie Spring Rolls & the Chicken Katsu. Let me tell you, some of the best Thai food I’ve had in a while! Very authentic, and I love how full of spice their flavors are. The katsu was delicious as was the curry. Came back 2 days later to bring food home for my family. Got the crab Rangoon, curry again, pad Thai with shrimp mild, basil duck mild, and the snapper fish. Oh my goodness, every meal here is a hit! I wish Thai Smile was close to me. Reasonably priced and good sized portions. Flavorful and authentic!

This is one of the best Thai restaurants in US. So glad we found this place during our recent visit to Stowe. The food is so delicious and the prices are reasonable. We dined in the first day and also did a take out the following day. The portions were good. There is ample parking space and a lot of vegan and vegetarian friendly food options too.

Some of the best Thai I’ve had in years. The food is authentic and not overly sweet(as is the case with so many Thai places these days) We were across the street at the Fairfield Inn and decided we were not up for going out. Thai food in our sweat pants was a perfect apres ski evening for us. I highly recommend you order from here when in Waterbury.

My buddy and I are staying at a hotel in the area for work, and we needed a place to eat after getting out of work that wasn’t too far, and wasn’t just run-of-the-mill American food. We decided to try this place, as our experience has taught us that the unassuming, small looking places are usually the best. Thai Smile is no exception to this rule. My buddy got the seaweed salad and the beef pad thai. I got the pork pad thai. Not only were the portions generous enough to make two meals out of one, but the noodles were incredibly fresh, not chewy or sticky at all. The pork AND beef were both cooked to perfection, and the sprouts were crisp and fresh. The friendly staff made the experience well worth the trip, and to cap everything off, the food was out quick, and it didn’t break the bank. As long as we’re up here for business, this place is going to become a regular haunt for us. I look forward to trying other things on their menu.

Small and quaint but staff is so nice and so helpful. Opted to take a chance to snag a table & we are thankful we did.
Food was incredible. Our server was an older gentleman and super nice! You could tell he works really hard to make sure everyone’s happy!
Lots of vegan choices, just ask!
We wanted the avocado fresh rolls but sadly they were sold out, thankfully they had spring rolls which were very good!
Next dish was the Rama Dish, requested no fish oil (not sure it comes with it or not but had to be safe – allergy) with tofu. Came with Jasmine Rice and was extremely good! The sauce was incredible. Everything cooked perfect.
My mom got the Khao Soi Noodle with chicken and said it was the most incredible Thai dish she’s ever had. Between the flavors and the texture, everything was cooked perfectly.
We are just visiting but highly recommend checking out this place whether eating in or getting take out. Well worth it. And price very fairly.

I have been eating Thai food for decades, before it became popular, and have had my share of so so meals. This place was not one of them! I had the chicken yellow curry and aside from the incredible flavor, the quality and quantity of chicken was amazing. The chicken was so tender and juicy and there was sooooo much of it! My husband got beef pad kee mao (aka drunken noodles) which was also delicious with generous portions of beef. I wish we had a Thai place like this near us….old school, authentic and absolutely delicious!

During a spontaneous road trip through Vermont, I stumbled upon this hidden gem of a Thai restaurant nestled along the way. Located somewhere on the journey, it was a delightful surprise to discover such culinary excellence in an unexpected place. While I can’t pinpoint its proximity to a town, I can confirm it’s close to the Ben and Jerry’s ice cream factory, which adds to its allure.
The food at this cozy Thai joint is nothing short of extraordinary. The papaya salad transcended my taste buds to another realm, boasting flavors that were simply out of this world. The Khao Soi noodle dish stole the show with its unparalleled deliciousness, making it a standout among Thai cuisine experiences. Additionally, the chicken wings were a perfect blend of crispy and succulent, while the Thai fried rice was an absolute delight, leaving me craving for more.
Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone traveling through the area or craving authentic Thai flavors. With its mouthwatering dishes and cozy ambiance, it’s sure to leave a lasting impression on any food enthusiast.
Don’t forget to grab some guava candies on your way out, it’s super tasty.

Outstanding thai food in small Vermont Town of Stowe. Right across Ben & Jerry Ice cream factory. A must try place.
If you like noodle soup, try Khao Soi Noodle. Vermicelli noodle in yellow curry sauce with crispy noodle on top. This is one of their signature dish there. Papaya Salad and fried also were very good. Tiny place serves some great food.
