This is hands down the most authentic place in Georgetown I’ve found. It’s family owned and operated which shows tremendously in their food. Prices are fair and the ownership is amazing. I typically don’t write home about a breakfast taco but these people surpassed my expectations. Take note that their homemade corn tortillas and salsa caught my attention which is a great foundation to this style of cuisine. They have a new regular for sure! I love Fonda Marin!

1/2026 Don’t let the location inside a convenience store fool you – this kitchen has some legit Mexican dishes. Among the most popular they say are the Falutas, which were sold out by 6pm on my Friday evening visit. The fajitas grilled up fresh on order were delicious.
They have a nice selection of hot sauces ranging from “f-yeah it’s hot” to “holy cow I think I’m on fire” but those are optional and the dishes are moderately spicy, perfect for most people’s tastes.
There are several tables for indoor dining, or grab a to-go to take with you.

My coworkers and I have been coming to Fonda Marin in Georgetown for a while now, and it’s become one of our regular lunch spots.
The food is always fresh and consistent. I recently had the burger and fries, and it did not disappoint. The burger was juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. The fries were crispy and hot exactly how they should be.
The service is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed, which makes it a great place to unwind after a long workday. You can tell they take pride in what they serve.
Definitely recommend if you’re in Georgetown and looking for a solid meal.

This restaurant in the back of a gas station convenience store is the best Mexican food to be found in Georgetown. I had the cheese empanadas and chicken tacos. My husband has chicken enchiladas. The food was cooked to order, fresh and delicious. It was served with a flight of salas and warm tortillas. Drinks are an assortment of Mexican sodas, ice tea, lemonade and water. The place has a friendly taco truck vibe. Our server was very sweet and attentive. The only thing missing is margaritas. We will definitely be back. Thanks Fonda de Marin for the good food!

This is a hidden gem in Georgetown! Stumbled upon them inside the grab and go Shell gas station. They make the best cheeseburger in town and the flautas are so delicious! I will definitely be back!
