Staff were friendly but were not prompt returning back for refills. My tortillas felt hard amd old but were replace. The food hardly had any taste to it. Was rather bland for mexican food.

Greeted with a warm welcoming smile & Hello. The bathrooms are clean & well vented. The lunch menu is very affordable & the food is delicious and filling. I highly recommend 10/10

Greeted with a smile coming in the door with chips and delicious salsa quickly brought to the table. Our food arrived soon after ordering, and it was delicious. Generously loaded tacos were great and served with rice and beans just how we liked. Sure wish we lived closer so we could enjoy more often. You have to give them a try! Great Mexican cuisine!

We’ve recently moved from Southern California and have been on a hunt for authentic Mexican restaurants with some disappointing results. This was our first time dining at El Salto and we were pleasantly surprised, we ordered the chicken enchiladas & carnitas tacos, both dishes were excellent. Service and ambience were also very nice. In general all Mexican restaurants in SC seem to only used queso white cheese, I wish they’d also include cheddar or Coby cheese.

I simply love El Salto, Israel and the entire team. They come through every time. We get take out about every week and the food is exceptional. Nothing about this place feels like fast food, but they are dang speedy with our orders. Splitting a Magdalena is a staple for us, but don’t miss out on their fajitas, shrimp quesadilla, steak and shrimp dinner, it’s all good. Half the time it’s two soft tacos, chips and queso and I’m in heaven.
They even accommodated a last minute Mother’s day dinner for our large family with when our reservations at another restaurant were canceled. It couldn’t have been easy to seat 13 on a holiday, but they managed with no issues at all.
