We enjoyed dinner. We had the Lamb Samosas and Squid Mari for starters and it was delicious. The Lamb Samosas is a bit hot, probably between and but very tasty. For mains we thoroughly enjoyed the soft and succulent Royal Butter Chicken, Lamb Chau Chau and Lamb Karahi. The service was very friendly and helpful.
Would recommend to anyone as all the food was of a very good quality and there are plenty of options that has different chilli strength and options without.

We had the momos and lamb chops to start which were both very nice. For mains, we tried the butter chicken, lamb shank and prawn makhani – all the curries were very nice. Also recommend the naan was also soft and pillowy.

Its my go to place in bedford. Not a vast menu but all very good with some nepalese dishes not seen much elsewhere. Starters tend to be generous so go easy on the side dishes. Staff very well trained and there a lot of them so service is good. All run with military prescision which is to be expected.

To start with the staff are fantastic, so convivial and they really are a friendly bunch, thank you. The food is delicious and every time I visit I just love the food so much. Its great quality at good prices, you leave very satisfied and full! Lovely restaurant can’t recommend this enough. I usually stick with the Nepalese foods but the Indian menu is spot on as well. Having moved out of the area a couple of years ago and The Royal Ghurka, being a firm favourite before leaving.
When we comeback to visit, this is the only place we insist on visiting. I have brought family, dined on my own and as a couple. Nothing is too much bother for any of the workers here, all so polite and the service is always very good even if they are full – which often happens.
It’s one of the things we miss about Bedford.

We had been to Royal Gurkha with friends on the occasion of Valentine’s Day. The atmosphere on the ground floor was superb and cosy. It has its own bar. We enjoyed the service and friendliness of the staff.
Being a Nepali, we were expecting Nepali food at Nepali portion, and were a little disappointed. Food was good and had Nepali spices and taste.
