We attended the Women’s Market today and it was an awesome experience (and a great day out!). Lots of unique local businesses and things to look at. Miranda was our bartender and she was super friendly and gave us great service. Definitely recommend Big Grove if you’re looking for great place in downtown CR.

Our server Ashley was awesome! Very attentive, excellent customer engagement skills combined with a humorous disposition. The food was great and met all expectations. We went to BGB to watch the Iowa women’s basketball game. The sound quality could use some tweaking, at full volume the speakers make the commentary sound like a low annoying mumbling. We were positioned on the east side of the Bar at a 4 top. Overall the customer experience was great! The sound system doesn’t seem like that big of a deal, until you’re setting there watching a sporting event that you have looked forward to seeing all week. Ask anyone in marketing, Sports are the only thing left that people want to see live. The consumer also wants to share that enthusiasm for their team with others in group environment that nurtures their passion for sports. Overall BGB does a great job and keep up the good work! I’ll bring head phones next time.

We were extremely impressed with our server, Hannah. Her smile started the experience out on a great note. She offered wonderful menu suggestions, answered all my crazy questions and then made sure we were happy with our choices. Hannah frequently came to our table to see if we needed anything and made us feel like we were her only table on a crazy busy night. Again and again her friendly and fantastic service exceeded our expectations. We had great night thanks to Hannah and the good people at Big Grove Brewery in Cedar Rapids.

Went for dinner on a Wednesday. It was very busy but our server, Hannah, provided top notch service and was very attentive and responsive. We will be back and ask for her again. Had the chips & queso, which were a great start. Then had the Taphouse burger. Great choice. Make sure to get the honey mustard for your fries. Not to mention the incredible beers!

We had a private event and the space was perfect! We had a gluten free person and they were. Were accommodating to them. The food and drinks were great and it was very relaxing. The only thing was the over charged us for food we canceled and didn’t get. I did call and got a refund, but it took me having to look at a large bill and later after we had left to realize it. Customer service was excellent, atmosphere wonderful and food great! Would definitely go again!

Big Grove DT is great! My dog and I stopped through for a quick lunch. Chandice went out of her way to make us comfortable outside on the patio – 11/10 service! Food was great. Vibes were great. Service was exceptional. Big Grove is the best.

Very lively ambiance with great decor. The outdoor seating is very nice. I highly recommend the Pork Tonkatsu – I rarely reorder the same food, but this was done perfectly.

Food was good, but the wings were not “great” (though I think it was more or less that I expected the “hot” wings to be “hotter” and I expected the blue cheese dressing/dip to be chunkier). Everyone else enjoyed their food as purchased, and I will certainly eat here again when we are visiting our daughter and her husband that live near the area. However, next time I plan to get the Rueben sandwich that they offer and which the waitress said her husband greatly enjoys every time when he comes there to eat.

Highly recommend the chicken wings, bibimbap bowl, and the steak and egg sandwich. The wings sauces were fantastic. We ordered the pretzel too but it was overcooked but I think it was just a fluke.
