ALWAYS great tasting food. This place is a diamond in the rough. Without a doubt, Court Room is the highest quality restaurant we have in Lawrence county. The prices are a little more than some of the other sit down restaurants in Bedford, but the food is MUCH better and totally worth it. Seating gets a little tight on the weekends, don’t expect to get seated right away during the normal dinner hours. The food is absolutely phenomenal, I have never had anything short of delicious. The menu is put together well with a very large variety. There is something for every palate, even for the pickiest of eaters. The desserts are just as good, if not better than all the other food combined. You MUST try the beignets (seriously, it’ll change your life).I totally left out the beer! Decent selection of a variety of craft beer with rotating taps from all over.

Travelled down from Bloomington to get a taste of something different and we weren’t disappointed! Great atmosphere and friendly staff! Drinks were really reasonably priced and tasty! We ordered the etoufee fries as an appetizer and OMG so delicious – honestly a combo I had never consid but somehow it just WORKS. I got the Crawfish Mac and cheese and my partner got the shrimp creole. Both tasty! Service was good but a little slow – although they were super busy and I’m assuming that’s why. All in all, will definitely come back and recommend to others!

Was it any good?

I had a party of 3 meeting here on a Tuesday for lunch at 11:30am. Upon arrival after navigating all the one ways around the square there was plenty of parking all around this downtown square. Parking was free. As we approached the entrance I noticed a dining area outside the establishment which was a nice touch. Upon entering, the restaurant was clean and inviting. The waitstaff allowed us to sit anywhere we wanted. There are plenty of tables and quite a few booths. I also noticed an 8 top in the back of the dining area. The other half of the establishment appeared to be a 21 and over bar area, with a bar and tables as well. The menu was not overly large and had quite a few appetizers, burger options, salads and some bowl dishes. There was a drink menu and plenty of beer options. I ordered the red beans and rice as I intended on some cajun food. The others ordered burgers. The food order took about 15 minutes to come up. I found the red beans and rice to be somewhat bland. I asked for, and added Louisiana Hot Sauce to spice it up. The sausage in the dish had some heat to it, but that was it. All in all it was a decent dish, and plenty to consume. There are two slices of bread as well. I couldn’t finish it all. The prices are up there a bit, but you get a good amount of food. The others loved their burgers and fries. And also requested “to go” boxes as they didn’t finish their orders either.

If you are looking for a nice place to enjoy some beverages and watch a game. This is your place. Want some good food also?? This is also your place. The best cajun I’ve ever had? No, but it’s solid, and a nice addition to Bedford.

The best thing was the fries with Cajun ranch for dipping. The gator bites were good but would have been better with the Cajun ranch for dipping instead of cocktail sauce. I ordered the crawfish ettoufee po’boy and there was only about 6 very small pieces of crawfish on the entire sandwich so not worth the money and not enough flavor. My husband got shrimp and crawfish ettoufee and the ettoufee wasn’t that great either and the rice tasted like minute rice. My son got the meatball po’boy and he liked it. My daughter got alfredeaux pizza with shrimp and there was 5 shrimp on it, it was so cheesy that’s all u could taste. We probably won’t return unless it’s just for drinks and appetizers.

I love this restaurant. The beignets are probably my favorite although I do like the cajun egg rolls!! Salads are wonderful too!!! Love how the owner comes out & mixes with the crowd . He checks if your enjoying your fish & might even sit down & chat for a few.

This place has Louisiana/Cajun food down. I love their beignets! I’ve tried a good sample of foods from their menu. Most dishes have some type of spice or hotness to it, so be honest with your waiter about your preferences and they’ll do a good job finding something on the menu to your taste. I thought the atmosphere in the restaurant was nice and the price seemed reasonable. They do offer takeout orders.

Great family restaurant. Not the standard chain experience. Nice selection as well as good steaks & burgers. Need to go back to graze through more of the appetizers. We had good service with our party of 9. Support good, local business.

Great food and great service. We tried fried alligator for the first time, and it was pretty good. The fries were absolutely amazing. Their seasoning is unlike any other. Highly recommend.

New Orleans flavor! We started out with fried green appetizer. 4 large slices. It was tangy with pineapple bacon sauce. Not sure what to expect but larger portion then we needed! One entree Bayou burger which was ground Angus chuck and ground Andouille sausage served with battered fries. Other was Shrimp Linguine with Sausage. Good portions. Finished off with the beignets that were hot filled with carmel sauce and just melted in your mouth. I’ll be back for the beignets for sure!

Went for the Valentine’s special. Drink service was fast…. But waited over an hour for the food we got….. Which was the appetizer. After an hour and a half waitress apologized said they only had a salad available… Which we agreed to get. Waited another 20 minutes never got it…. How hard is it to throw lettuce on a plate? We left. Never will go back.
