The food at Best Wok is decent, but the service and cleanliness significantly detract from the overall experience.
This was my first visit, and the dining area was visibly messy. Multiple tables were left uncleared with dirty plates, used napkins, and leftover food for an extended period of time. As shown in the photos, the tables remained in that condition the entire time I waited, and no staff appeared to be managing the dining area.
I placed a pickup order by phone and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived about 15 minutes after ordering, yet still waited nearly an hour before receiving my food. While it was clear the restaurant was busy, there was no communication about delays. Had I been informed, I could have planned accordingly.
When I asked why I was not told about the delay, the gentleman wearing glasses responded by turning his back to me instead of addressing the concern. That interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional.
While the food itself was acceptable, there are several nearby options that maintain a cleaner environment and provide far better customer service. Based on this experience, I would choose those alternatives instead.

Thought the food was pretty good. Decent portions, enough for a few meals. The only downside is the customer service is a bit cold and the restaurant ambiance isn’t the best. Ordered the sweet and sour chicken and general Tso’s Chicken. Would order again.

This is possibly the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had, and I used to buy Chinese takeout from grocery stores. Nothin has flavor, the Lo Mein is made with spaghetti noodles and for the price, I’m quite upset. The staff are extremely rude, which checks out with other reviewers. I was expecting good food though. Just goes to show you can’t trust an Americans opinion on what decent ethnic food tastes like. To everyone that recommended this place to me, go educate yourself.

Not sure why the reviews are so off.
Here’s what is important. The staff are often busy and respond quickly but politely so to some their shortness comes off as rude but they are actually being very polite and were absolutely lovely.

The tables did have plates on them but were quickly cleaned. They clean after a certain number or minutes rather than focusing on cleaning the tables every time they are finished.
Personally I did not mind this as everything we ate off and had our stuff on was polished to perfection.

Finally the most important part… the food.
The food was divine. Beef Lo mein came out saucy, flavorful and tender with that little bit of chew from the noodles.
Sweet and Sour chicken was perfectly crisp outside and tender inside. The sauce? Some of the best sweet n sour I’ve had, very aromatic and honestly unique in all the best ways.
The dumplings? Crisp and soft all at the same time. The insides juicy as they were intended and served with an absolutely delicious sauce.
Finally the eggroll, crispy, chewy and again… flavorful!

I had missed my childhood favorite chinese place for so long and this place reminded me of that but better so if you need a good place? Go here, it seems like a hole in the wall from first glance but it is truly a diamond in the rough.

My husband is from New York City and is always looking for Chinese food that’s equal to the way they make it in New York. This place was suggested to us by a person who works nearby in a retail store. So my husband decided to go and try it, and sure enough, the food is very good. I’m a carnivore, so I didn’t try it, but from what he said and the look on his face, he was very, very happy. If you’re looking for New York-style Chinese food, this is the spot for you!

First time trying this restaurant this evening. The food is fresh!! They are busy, and yet they are very reasonable on timing. And the restaurant is nice and clean as well as all their dishware. We will be back!! And the price is just right for fresh cooked delicious food.

Worst Chinese food and the coldest service ever! Not sure you can call whatever they consider chicken actually meat. So yourself a favor and go somewhere else. We looked at it and walked out. By the reviews that we read after leaving it’s so far gone it’s not even worth telling them how they could do better.

Stopped in for a Christmas dinner luckily finding Best Wok open. Food was hot. Fast, and delicious. Was was tickled by their young helpers behind the counter. The only thing that could have made eating at Best Wok better is having the name Bo Ling Chop Suey Palace and waiters singing Deck the Halls, ref. A Christmas Story.

I had a good experience here. I ordered the four piece wings and rice and large ribs as an appetizer.

Not very helpful or friendly on this my first visit. Annoyed that I asked what “Family Meal” and “double…” no description on the menu. Then my teriyaki chicken was mostly fat…gross. Orange chicken was ok. First and last visit I think.
