We are return customers to the Market Bistro. We don’t live in Canmore but love to make a stop here whenever we are in town. They are very unique flavours and menu items that aren’t ’the usual’ fare you’d find in most places, so that is why we love eating out here. Our waitress was very good at serving our meal and taking our order and clearing the table quickly and efficiently. The bistro has a homey atmosphere and very international flavour to their dishes. There is free parking outside which is a rare thing to find in Canmore it seems. Everyone loved their dishes! The salmon with prawns entrée and also the salad with salmon were all cooked to perfection. Highly recommend The Market Bistro, do stop in when you’re in Canmore!

he Market Bistro in Canmore is a cozy spot with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The menu has a great mix of local and European-inspired dishes, and everything we tried was fresh and well-prepared. The service was friendly and attentive without being rushed. Prices are a little on the higher side, but the quality of food and the charming setting make it worthwhile. Overall, a lovely place to enjoy a meal in the mountains.

We happened to choose The Market Bistro randomly, and it was the best choice we made on our entire trip to Canmore. The food was incredible— everything from the appetizers to the dessert cooked perfectly. Our cocktails were unique and tasty, and the waitstaff were kind, prompt, and professional. Plus, the restaurant is nestled at the base of the Three Sisters, making the views from the floor to ceiling windows panoramic and truly breathtaking. We would recommend this restaurant to any local or tourist needing a special night out with loved ones or by themselves.

This restaurant was a solid 4.5 for me. The vibe is summer/garden patio mixed with fine dining. Some areas could use an upgrade like the bathroom, but the rest was quite nice. The food is mainly Italian and a mix of interesting choices and flavors for something new. I would recommend if you want to try something new.
The only feedback I’d give would be towards my son’s spaghetti. It wasn’t as well done or warm as it could have been when it came out.

Yummy food! I enjoyed the mushroom pasta but wish there were more mushrooms! Bread was a little old because you can tell they just reheated. Overall if you’re in the area – worth checking out but don’t make a special trip.

Water tastes like chlorine! Slow but friendly service. Big patio and lots of tables inside as well. $20 for a mediocre Sammy but flatbread was fresh and tasty!

Great little restaurant by Three Sisters with ample parking! Hard to find that in Canmore area. Service was good and food came out quickly and hot. We ate outside on the patio and it was so peaceful and enjoyable. We had pasta dishes but didn’t have room for dessert afterwards. The tables around us all had different items and they all looked fresh. It is nice to be away from the hustle of Downtown Canmore and enjoy a relaxing evening of good food and gorgeous Mountain Views.

We enjoyed our experience at the Market Bistro. We had Xavier as our waiter. He was knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations for the table. He was friendly and funny. The food was good (my friend absolutely loved her shrimp risotto!) and the service was in a timely manner.

A great pit stop on our bike ride! It was a bit chilly that day and the Market Bistro was the perfect way to warm up. With soup of the day (mushroom, amazing!) and coffees, latte, teas and beers. It was like a little hidden gem.
