They were open on Christmas day and we went here for dinner. It was great! Some of the best customer service we have ever had at a restaurant. And the food was so good with large portions too! We will be going back for sure!

This place was delicious!! Make sure to bring your appetite because the portion size is huge. The price is decent for the amount of food. If you are a fan of fried green tomatoes this is definitely the spot for you! All the food we had was tasteful and cood fresh when we ordered it. The wait was not long at all either. Our server Tracy was great! Friendly and on top of it! Answered any question we had with the menu.

I’ve seen this place a few times, and often thought I should go there. There’s a lot of fish on their menu, so I’m almost sure that they do a good job. But I’m not gonna lie I have not tried it! I did indeed try their Philly cheesesteak. I didn’t know what to expect the lady at the window told me it was an excellent but when I open the box it was not as big as I would’ve thought. You’ve heard it before don’t let size get in the way, this thing was packed full of flavor. The fries were crispy and good and the cheesesteak was unbelievable! The same day my wife visited their other location and was talked into getting their chicken liver dinner, I cannot vouch for chicken liver, but she said it was absolutely wonderful. I did try the crust on the liver and it was good but inside was still Liver. If you’re looking for a little place to go that’s different than the others, give Sam a chance.

Terrible food quality and horrible service. We had an order for 150 people and only received enough food for five people and we ordered thighs and wings and only got wings. The wings had feathers and claws in them and were deep fried twice.the sides they sent were NASTY! Do not eat here people. When we tried calling they hung their phone up.

I would rate this as a place that is just okay to go and visit. Your average ticket price is going to be about $10 per plate. So it is on the pricier side of the things.
I would say it’s a strange mix between say a Dennys and a Long John Silvers. By that I mean that you do get a waitress or waiter, it’s sort of sit down but also has a drive through. The decor is alright but didn’t really feel southern to me, red and white plaid does not make it southern it makes it feel like a picnic.
The fish was good and it was really hot, tasted fresher than most seafood places around that I would compare it to (similar fast food style diners in the area).
Our waitress however was very unresponsive, we walked in and the lady at the counter was nice and said to pick a spot to sit at and a waitress would be with us soon. We waited almost 10 minutes to get asked what we wanted to drink, and you can see in the picture above, we were only 1 of 3 tables being used at the time. So not busy at all, we had enough time to look at the entire menu multiple times and were ready to order when we ordered our drinks.
The food came out pretty quick which props to the kitchen. But we ran out of drinks quickly with our food and our waitress was gone again until she brought us our check, after which I asked for a refill but it would have been nice to be able to have a refill before we got our check. I ended up taking the rest home with me because I didn’t want to wait to get a drink again.
5/5 Hot, and quick to serve Food
3/5 on price ($10 per plate is sort of expensive, even for seafood, taking that it’s a fast food style diner)
1/5 on waitress (I would not even bother with having servers if they are unresponsive like ours was)

The new owners or new employees really need some help, there is HAIR and FEATHERS on the chicken. Completely not edible in my opinion. Unfortunately this place used to be my favorite and has since went really down hill.

Great diner type establishment, huge portions and the quality is also excellent. Our server was very friendly and efficient. It is housed in an older building that doesn’t have much street appeal, but it is really a great place to eat. I have read some reviews about it being pricey…I dont think you can get this much good food- especially shrimp and fish- at this price anywhere around here. We spent $20 for two of us and had more than we could eat…as the pic shows, their shrimp was large and the batter was excellent.

I have been passing by this place for too long without stopping and trying it. Today, I stopped and am glad I did. I had the grilled tilapia platter. It was phenomenal. Cooked perfect with some great spices and grilled onions on top. The sides, however, green beans and cole slaw, weren’t so great. They were not bad, 100% edible. They just were not on the same level as the fish. That makes this a 4 star overall for me. The restaurant was clean, and so was the bathroom. If you have not given this place a shot, you really need to.

First time there . Waiter was very nice and very attentive. Food was really good I got the shrimp Po boy. I thought it was little salty for some reason. My husband got the gyro and he thought it was amazing. Like every place hit and miss but glad we stopped in there.
