Really liked it here was recommended to me by my chef friend Carl and his Bajan wife Amanda. So if they think its good it must be. We went for lunch on a busy Saturday afternoon. Music playing just at the right level. The waiter talked about the food and advised could reduce the spice heat on the swordfish. We were unsure of how hot it would be. Next time will take it up a notch. Felt relaxed and not rushed to leave. Will definitely visit again.

Wonderful food served against a background of ska and reggae. Just go order anything from the menu and enjoy.
I’m already making plans to go back and explore more of the menu and also the rum selection.

Business dinner with collegues and food was fabulous. I went with chickpea curry which was great and collegues went with fabulous gravalax and the other with saltfish. My main was the amazing ox tail while others had goat curry (great) and crusted swordfish (amazing) and I finished with ginger cake with ice cream (better than any sticky toffee I’ve had). I will absolutely recommend this place to other colleagues

Came here last week for lunch. Had fishcakes as a starter, which was so good! It wasn’t spicy at all compared to the other reviews. My chicken is flavourful and such a big cut as well.

Came for lunch here on a very wintery day last week. Great fast service. Good choice for vegetarians. Had the delicious vegetarian roti. Very reasonably priced.very atmospheric with old reggae tunes playing in the background….. Only negative was restaurant temperature was not as warm as we would have liked.

We went for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. As we were their first customers the place was quiet. The table was ready when we arrived and drinks orders were taken promptly.
The service is friendly, and welcoming the food is super yum and generous portion sizes.
If I am in Margate again I would return.

They make a seriously delicious Creole fish stew here. I think it was only 18 pounds and you get fresh and juicy seafood paired with the richest tomato broth.

Came here on a weekday so there was only one waitress but she was kind and helpful throughout the lunch. I’m honestly surprised by how quiet it was, given the high quality of food and affordable menu.

Amazing quality for the price. The staff were lovely, and the food was very tasty. We had a curried scallop and jerk sausage for starter which was really good. My partner had the jerk burger and I had the Curried Goat. Both were really good, but I would have liked more heat in the curry.
I asked to swap the rice for plantain and they were very happy to accommodate me, which was lovely.
We had 1 starter 2 mains and 4 double gnts for about £65, for the quality of the food the price is amazing.

What a great place. Antonio and his friendly team provide some absolutely astonishing dishes, a good selection of wine and, naturally, a remarkable selection of rum. One of us had the goat curry the other the blackened swordfish, although would have gladly chosen pretty much any of the dishes. Good wine, great service, great value and rounded off with some fine rum… perfect. Highly recommended! Go try it.
