This is my favorite little “stop and get an expresso” place. The owners are so sweet and friendly and welcoming. The place is always clean and the pastries are good. I go for the “cafecito” I stay for the warmth and conversations. I hope you #enjoy it as much as I do and if ever you’re there for that expresso and you see me, please stop and say “hi”! Until my next venture! Chap

Food: Ordered cortadito, and they made it with expired milk. The milk literally curdled in the cortadito. When I asked barista about it, he said yes we need to change it. Surprisingly he didn’t even apologize.

Service: Two senior citizens run the place. I respect their grind at this age. Hats off to them. Do not go to this place if you want faster service.

Atmosphere: Smells terribly bad. Sits about 10 people only.

My husband and I absolutely loved everything about our experience at Angel’s Sweets Bakery! The beef empanadas are hands down the most flavorful I’ve ever tasted and that’s coming from someone who grew up in Miami, so that should say something. The ham croquetas were delicious and cooked to perfection. The best part everything is made fresh to order, so it comes out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The Cuban coffee is a must have strong, smooth, and authentic. The place is super clean, and the staff is warm and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend!

Not open even though they showed it open around noon. Found several delivery notices posted on the door. I’m thinking it closed permanently.

This small family owned business has been here for about 9 months. It serves delightful Cuban, coffee, sandwiches, and baked goods with a smile. We were passing through Clewiston and wanted a quick bite. We had the Media Noche (“Midnight”) sandwich…and I promise you it was better than most Miami versions. The pork was quality, tasty, and tender, and the delicious sweet bread was toasted to perfection. The owner’s wife gave me a small coconut pastry to try…and it was flaky and delicious. I ended up buying a tray of mixed pastries to take. This was better than most standard Cuban bakeries. Highly recommend supporting this local gem

Really lovely couple running the place. This was our first Cuban coffee so unable to compare it – however my husband tells me the proper Cuban one (half a cup of milk) was good as were the pastries.
