I’ve only been here once but the brunch was outstanding! Little pricy but we will be back :).
The waiter was very enthusiastic and excited about us enjoying the food, greeted us very warmly and even did a low fist pump when we said it was delicious. Any time I find people that enthusiastic about their work I know I’ve found a hidden gem.
We got the california omelette, french toast with strawberries and banana, corn beef hash, and the eggs benedict.
My God was the Benedict and corn beef hash to die for! The French was delicious as well, but I’ll be honest and say I have had better but this comes pretty close. But it was just good enough to hit the spot and round out the meal ^^.
The omelette was a little dry on the inside so next time maybe I just gotta ask them to make the inside a little more moist.
We will definitely be back, maybe for dinner next time. But I already know we’re about to become regulars here!
We went for shakes since I was craving chocolate shake.
It was made with real ice cream not ice milk like most places now a days.
It was big and came eith a surprise lollipop
Perfect place to stop

Came again on Sunday and tried something different. Ham dinner (more of a thick sized & not thin) with mash potatoes and gravy with steamed veggies and garlic bread. Delicious and moist. Wow, what a find. For those who wants something lighter, try the Chicken Cashews salad with a side of fresh fruits. Refreshing & light.

Went to Nico’s on Sunday. They serve Brunch over the weekends. Really enjoyed the steak, eggs, hashbrown, toast and Champagne. Delicious! Also, their Chicken, Cashews Salad with fruits was amazing and freshing. Turkey dinner with mash potatoes, stuffing, steam veggies, cranberry and toasted garlic bread was awesome! Going to enjoy it all with the yummy leftovers at home! Don’t forget to enjoy their desserts – Apple Pie and ice cream! Always enjoyed their delicious food and friendly service.

First time dining at Nico’s Family Restaurant. Was looking for a family dining restaurant and what a find! We really enjoyed the food, service and the atmosphere. It had a very friendly, quaint neighborhood dining atmosphere, where one could enjoy socializing with family and friends while dining. The menu had a very extensive selection. Everything they served was so-o-o delicious and good, from their food, drinks, and deserts. Oh my, the chocolate cake and apple pie were absolutely incredible! Believe it or not, we had to go back again the next day to try the other dishes. Oh, was it good! Again, we had the chocolate cake and apple pie for dessert! Anything that is made with Strawberries – i.e. smoothies, Strawberry Bellini, etc, is especially INCREDIBLE during Strawberry Season! This has become our special dining place whenever we are in this area. Highly recommend Nico’s Family Restaurant.
Date/time of visit: Saturday morning,~11:00 AM
Parking: in the adjacent lot shared with other businesses
Party size: 1
Environment/ambience: old school cafe/diner setup. 2 small TVs over the kitchen. Clean restaurant, 80s style. They bring you the check and you pay upfront, leave the tip on the table. Unisex restrooms were clean. Employees seem happy. Coffee is served all the time; an employee is walking around looking to refill empty cups.
Service: was great. Didn’t have to wait long for anything.
Food: was good. Had the French toast, with scrambled eggs, sausage links, and a glass of OJ.
Cost: not too bad, $20 with tip. But $4.50 for a glass of OJ?
