Most of the food is homemade and made to order on a big selection of it. The portions hit every time very generous and I’ve always had some to take home. It’s fresh the service is wonderful and the atmosphere is great. The meatloaf amazing the sloppy Joe amazing as well with a twist. Mac n cheese is to die for Just a really good place to go eat alone or with you’re family. You can’t beat the prices. The also have a great selection of homemade pies and cookies. I’ve been there several times and have yet to be disappointed. The staff is also very attentive. They work hard!

We had a nice dining experience here. They only serve dinner on Friday & Saturday nights. Otherwise, it’s breakfast and lunch. We arrive this Saturday at 5:30 pm and we were seated inside. Between the bar and tables, there is seating for about 35 people with more outside.
The servers are friendly. We started with root beer that is made at the Mammoth Brewing Co. Very nice.
Don ordered the fried chicken thigh sandwich with tater tots. It was good, but a bit overcooked. The heirloom tomato slices were so delicious!
I ordered the pan seared salmon which was perfectly cooked and so delicious! We would both return for the salmon alone.
The meatloaf coming out of the kitchen looked so good and a big portion! We have to try that next time!

Good food, good folks, good times. Can’t beat that combo. McGee’s feels like Oklahoma’s own version of Cheers where everybody knows your name and what you’re fixin’ to order.
The hamburger steak hit like Sunday supper at grandma’s because it’s juicy, hearty, and made with love. My buddy knew half the folks in there, and by dessert, I felt like I did too.

Found this cafe on google maps and what a treat it was! There were 4 families in line ahead of us, but the line went quick. The lady in front of us said their chicken fried steak was the best so that’s what we ordered. The breading was just right and the steak was tender. Not greasy at all. The mashed potatoes were homemade, not like the big city restaurants that serve instant potatoes. This cafe has really good food. It’s a large dining area, but had every table full of happy customers. While it is a 2 hour drive from home, if we are in this area anytime soon, we’ll be back. We were told the fried peaches are amazing too, but didn’t get them this time.

We went today to the Stratford peach festival. We stopped in at Mc Gee’s for lunch. It was packed, very busy but we only waited about 10 minutes to be seated. Our lunches were delicious! We also got us a fresh peach shortcake to go. It was amazing!

I deliver these people’s food and supplies. I can tell you their kitchen and storage areas are very clean. Very nice down home people here. My burger was huge and piled with fresh ingredients that I had literally just brought in. They’re not stingy here.

Been going here since they been opened had the same menu. And they changed it and don’t have anything that I usely eat on there no more. 2 of the 3 starters I got every time I came they no longer have. No chili of any kind anymore. No chili cheese anything. Guess it’s Sonic today… Sadly I spend around 30 bucks on starters and food for myself. A 20 mile wasted trip. Most likely won’t be coming back anytime soon.

Had a great grilled onion burger, cooked perfectly, meat was very tasty, well seasoned, the fries were frozen fries but good anyway. Service was excellent and many daily specials available. Downtown Stratford is long past its glory days and somewhat run down with only a pharmacy and a few other businesses still open, but don’t let that deter you from visiting this place. Inside walls, are lined with about 16 pictures of the downtown area from horse and buggy days till the 60’s or so. Interesting viewing. I’d gladly return here anytime I was in the area..

Home cooking diner in downtown. If you arrive around dinner time the downtown area will be packed by pickups and cars of the locals. Seat yourself and get ready to enjoy an incredible county cooking meal served by a very friendly staff that are proud to be there. Restaurant and bathrooms are clean and in good repair. Menu had a wide selection of choices as well as daily specials. Highly recommend this place as a destination dining experience.

Mom & Pop places are usually my favorites. However, this spot was a little bit of a let down. It wasn’t terrible and I would definitely say to give it a try. Service was great. Walked out for $24 including a $6 tip.
The food tasted off, and let me feeling heavy. It wasn’t “too greasy” but something was definitely off.
I odered a burger (can’t remember the name) that came with bacon, onion rings and BBQ sauce and the waffle fried with cheese and chopped chicken strip.
The bun in the burger was basic, the patty seemed to be premade/frozen type but of good quality.
The cheese fries and chicken was a great appetizer/ combo to the burger.
I’ll definitely give the spot another try because every place has an off day. I’ll update accordingly.
