My husband and I love this place and ALWAYS make a point to stay at The Battlehouse when anywhere near the vicinity of Mobile—mainly because the bartending team and servers make you feel like you’re in your home away from home! Akin and Mallory provide warm, friendly service, and the food is delicious!

The bartender/ server was choosing who she wanted to serve and clean up after we sat with our table full of dirty plates, she cleaned up other people’s table but not ours and I had to move our dirty plates . The vibe in the place was off as snooty kids kept leaning against our chairs and being rude, and she made our experience feel even more awkward. It was embarrassing as we had a friend visiting from out of town. Was it because we were Hispanic, hmmmm, and will never recommend that place. Bad experience.

Classy atmosphere! Great piano player & cocktails in glasses. Water in plastic cups but the Beef Tenderloin with gnocchi & asparagus made up for it.

Actually dined at The Terrace restaurant. One of the most relaxing and enjoyable and tasteful dinners I’ve had in a long time in Mobile!

Food was awful. The prime rib sandwich was more like day old roast beef. Arby’s would have been much more palatable. Prices are OK. Atmosphere is very douchey. Service is good. The live music is elevator jazz. Definitely NOT a “tavern”

A place to go for great music, obviously the hustle and bustle of New Orleans is vibrant here but a lot less foot traffic in its location. Shawn the bartender was exceptional as well as the bands.

Enjoyed hearing the Piano Man again. Been going here for years, and we’ve always enjoyed it. Great atmosphere. Like a step back in time. Love it.

Terrible. $15 hamburger that was way over cooked and raw bacon. I’d be fine with it if they had bothered to ask if it was ok, they they were all too busy working on a sign for some party. Absolutely not to a standard I expect from Marriott.
Update: they comped it. So I tripled their star rating. Still not happy. Headed next door.

Our favorite place to hear live music. John Anthony, an original Wet Willie musician, “twinkles the ivories ” as you relax with a cocktail around the piano bar. Fun, upbeat atmosphere with a lot of class added in. A “must do” if you are downtown in the evenings.

Nice atmosphere. Drinks were good. Not sure if there isnt table service or just understaffed so myself and at least 2 other tables walked to bar after waiting for 10-15 minutes.
