Hosted my companies holiday party here. The staff was phenomenal. The food was great. They had a great price point and I couldn’t have asked for a better team. Their event staff was so attentive and friendly they made the whole experience so enjoyable even with a boss who couldn’t make up their mind they were very accommodating and helpful. Will host there again

Such a hidden gem on downtown Chandler. A place we can take the whole family and know everyone’s something they LOVE! The restaurant has a premium classy feel, while sitting outside in the back is casual and great for families with kids who won’t sit still.
The service is amazing, our waitress’ slogan was “I got you” and she did. Everything to checking on us to making sure the food was perfect!

I could not believe the food. It was extraordinary! I was not expecting it because I like Mexican street food, but this was better. We have been back five times. My wife said the fajitas are the best she has ever had. My favorite is the prime skirt steak with shrimp. I had never heard of Charro beans but they’re incredible. Last time I was in, I had the chicken special. We spent the evening on the patio and the atmosphere was fantastic. The lighting was just right, and the music was not too loud. I imagine this to be my favorite Mexican restaurant for years to come.

Absolutely love this place! This was our second time here, and we had Gabrielle both times. She was wonderful! The food came out fast, and was so delicious – I recommend the queso fundido and the green salsa. She kept checking in on us and making sure we had all we needed.

I was there this past Saturday for a birthday party for a friend. From the moment I walked in the door the staff was friendly and accommodating to me and my service dog. The dining area and patio were immaculate.
The party was being held on the patio area. There was plenty of seating for the party guests. The wait staff quickly took drink orders and reorders. There was a sizeable buffet of mexican favorites. I did sample a little of everything and thought it was quite tasty. The carne asada was the star—tender and juicy, with just the right amount of spice.
It was an enjoyable experience. Everyone had a great time. The food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place.

I used to go to this place ALL the time for their steak nachos because they were layered, full of toppings, and enough to share. Honestly the best I have ever had. Unfortunately the last 2 times I have gone, the portions have gotten thinner and thinner. I was told it was under new ownership, but we can still give us the normal portioning especially when it is a $20 appetizer. I like the addition of the back bar and new bartenders though!

I’ve always wanted to eat here and last night was the night! Sat outside now that the weather is finally beautiful again and was pleasantly surprised to see that they had the most inviting patio outside. Our server, Tyti, was phenomenal– very attentive and friendly! Got their HH marg and a BYO taco plate– husband said he preferred the carnitas over the birria. I really enjoyed my visit and would go back!

I went to Recreo Cantina last night for dinner and to get some late work done. The vibe is great and the ambiance is beautiful, but the service is what truly stood out. Steph was an absolute delight. She was warm, attentive, and incredibly accommodating, checking in regularly to make sure everything was going well without ever being intrusive.
Later in the evening, even after my tab had already been closed, she thoughtfully brought me water while I was still working. It was such a small but meaningful gesture, and completely unprompted. Her kindness and genuine care made the entire experience even better. Steph is truly wonderful, and her service is a big reason I will be back.

Ariana was our waitress and was 100/10. Handled everything super professionally. The food was delicious and as soon as we walked in everyone was super accommodating. Even set up a heater for me so that I would be comfortable. This place is underrated.
