We enjoyed dinner with our cousins at Old Orchard Inn last night. Our server was very patient, and very efficient. Most of our meals (especially the ribs and chicken pot pie) were excellent!

I have only been here a few times, but every visit has been wonderful. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary dinner here last year, and more recently we brought our kids. The service has been amazing each time, and the food is always consistently good.

Old Orchard Inn feels like a true hidden gem. This is not the place to go if you are in a rush, but if you want to enjoy the experience, it is absolutely worth it.

The lamb chops were fine see photo cooked the way he wanted. But the chicken fricassee was a joke. See photo…I had crab cakes…worst I’ve had ever. And the lemon dessert ..yes you guessed it. Lemon sauce from a bottle and a merengue biscuit thing …worthless. a suggestion. Even though the diner is getting crab cakes don’t just serve them plain…presentation matters. But the atmosphere is lovely ..we’ll try it again perhaps get the specials instead

My Dad’s favorite restaurant! We celebrated his 80th birthday at this historic establishment and afterwards our family strolled the gorgeous grounds taking family photos and continuing our conversations. A memorable time!

We had a party of eight. Our meals were superb as were the drinks, atmosphere, and service. Top-notch!!

We tried this amazing hidden gem only 4-Mins from our house today. We had a chance to talk with the family that owns and operates this amazing establishment and the story behind it is incredible. Everything from ambience, to socializing, to the food makes more expensive establishments look 2nd rate. We will certainly be conducting dinners, meetings and the likes here more frequently!

My Husband took me here for my Birthday this year and it was AMAZING!! We have been here a couple times in the past and Old Orchard never disappoints.
The atmosphere and service were terrific and the food was outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions or just to bring the family if you want an exceptional dinner!

Was just there for a birthday dinner and it was amazing. Great food and service, but the atmosphere is magical. A cold snowy night, a fireplace, quaint outdoor lighting, and good company.

This was such a quaint restaurant! I called to ask if we needed reservations and they said they recommended them. We made reservations for a half hour later. It was very busy and it was a Sunday night! The service was outstanding! Our waiter was informative and attentive. The food was delicious. We started with homemade bread that was wonderful. Every entree comes with soup or a salad. I had the French Onion soup (still cannot believe it was included with my meal). The manicotti was good, as was my husband’s pot pie. All meals come with family style side dishes. Today it was butternut squash, mashed potatoes, and beets. DELICIOUS!!! I ordered a piece of cappuccino kahlua cheesecake for dessert. The bill came and was only $47 plus tax. Our meals were so big that we have a meal for tomorrow night.

This place is from a bygone era when families turned their homes into restaurants and taverns. This charm still exists here. I came here to eat with a party of 8 for which we made reservations. When we arrived we were offered our choice of a private room or to eat in the main dining room, of course we took the private room. We had two young teens with us and the server let them know of an array of choices that were not on the menu. We very much appreciated this and it made them feel more comfortable. They have a great cocktail and wine list and all though the beer menu was small ther were great choices on it as well as traditional domestic offerings. The food was some of the best I’ve ever had. The prices were below average for what was provided. I will definitely be going back here again.

haven’t been here in years and was very excited to return. during my meal, the server reached into my plate and removed a lobster shell I was still getting meat off of. she also left behind three of her blonde hairs on the plate. the food was mostly good, just wish I got to eat all of it. noting that everyone who ordered a steak though complained it was very overcooked based on how they ordered it. a busser then came by immediately after setting my fork down for one moment and took everything off the table. we were still eating the sides. he took all of our plates and utensils. this is such bizarre and inappropriate behavior for such a nice place. I still cannot get over this woman reaching down into my food and taking things away and leaving pieces of herself behind. we are all so absolutely grossed out by this entire experience.

edit to add, there’s absolutely nothing disabled friendly about this place and it almost seems to have gotten even worse over the years. the steep walkway and parking area are in disrepair. I have a walking disability and had an extremely difficult time getting to and from the restaurant. not to mention all the wonky, uneven steps up and down from room to room. I can’t imagine this day in age not having an accessible establishment.
