Got a medium sized plate and a empanada on the side. Only ate 10% of it. The rice was too hard, and they also gave me the wrong meat. The empanada dough tasted old and expired and I can’t make out what the filling is. Looks like it could be cheese and chicken, but awful taste. It’s my first time, not sure I’ll be back.

The beans and rice were a harmonious blend, each grain and bean a testament to culinary perfection. The pernil, tender and flavorful, danced on my palate, though a touch heavy-handed with the salt. As for the beef empanada, it whispered of potential, yearning for a bit more zest to truly sing. Overall, the meal was a pleasant journey, albeit with a price tag that felt a tad steep.

Had this delivered. It was excellent. The chicken was tender and loaded with flavor. The rice was cooked to perfection and the beans were amazing. I will be making this my weekly lunch spot! The sweet tea had just the right amount of sweet. Highly recommend plenty of food for me, had some left over for dinner.

Ordered 3 golpes using Door dash. When I received my order, the mangu was old. Grayish color and very runny. Mangu is known to be a yellowish color and the texture of mashed potatoes just a bit thicker. The mangu I received was old and not appetizing. I called the restaurant to inform them of the quality of the food and was told “it’s not old, the chef added a lot of butter”….Butter would never make mangu look gray!

They forgot the beans that we ordered and the roasted chicken was cold even into the center. The chicken must have been cooked in the morning and they didn’t even bother to reheat it. Called to let them know about the missing food and they had a bunch of nonsense excuses for why they forgot and just argued instead of trying to solve the problem. Then told them about the chicken that it was cold and she just HUNG UP the phone. We were very late to pickup the food which is on us, but you can tell the center of the chicken was cold so either the food was sitting near an open window, or they gave us chicken from the morning and gave it a quick microwave blast before boxing it. Either way, you would think they would try to keep the food in a warm place. Rude service is the main problem, won’t be back here again.

If i could give negative 5 for food i will do it. I saw flies flying around inside the food tray and the seller don’t even bother to cover the food. First and last and i will never want to go there again. Old hailey’s is better. Food is expensive and hygine is bad
