We drove three hours for an estate sale and decided to try Kelly’s because of the glowing reviews. What we walked into was shockingly poor service.
There were three women ahead of us waiting to be seated. Empty tables were clearly visible. Staff walked by repeatedly and said absolutely nothing. No greeting. No eye contact. No “be right with you.” Just complete disregard.
One staff member in particular — a woman with short, spiky gray hair — stood directly in front of us chatting with customers at the bar while a line formed in front of her. It was uncomfortable and frankly embarrassing to watch. A basic acknowledgment takes two seconds. Instead, we were left standing there long enough to question whether we should just leave.
If you work in hospitality, hospitality is the job. Ignoring guests at the door isn’t busy — it’s bad service. First impressions matter, and this one was terrible.

I have grown up going to Kelly’s all my life. This will forever be my most favorite breakfast diner. The staff is always amazing. The food is always delicious.

Horrible breakfast! I have no clue how this place is rated so high. There was a hair in my maple syrup, and they were out, so I couldn’t eat my french toast. The servers don’t wear gloves or wash their hands when making or apply butter to any bread. My husbands scrambled eyes were raw. The toast was loaded with fake butter and he couldn’t eat it. I will say the server was nice.

What a find! In the town I was born in almost 60 years ago no less! Passing through on my way to an event, wanted to give this place a try. Such wonderful staff, fresh food literally prepared directly in front of you, incredible decor, just what you are looking for at a place like this. Reasonable prices, fast friendly service, plenty of parking, what’s not to like? Would recommend 10/10!

Super friendly staff. Fast service. Got the fish sandwich and fries. Haven’t had non greasy fish and fries in a long time! Cooked perfectly. Also the fries were not salted. Tired of always getting fries that sit in a basket and get salted by everyone that walks by.

This place is local. Everyone knows each other. It feels like visiting a friend or family member’s home.
When I went the highlights were the hash browns and my partner’s sausages that I ate most of without any shame. Best sausages I’ve had in years.
Everything was made to perfection. It felt like I was in a diner and I loved every second of it.
It’s probably written everywhere but I missed it. It’s cash only. There’s an ATM inside that has a $2.50 fee to use. It is worth the fee to eat here but if you’re reading this and you can go to an ATM and not pay the fee then your visit will be that much better.

The food was good. Prices were a little high definitely could use a little rehab on the restaurant itself. Service staff were wonderful all in all. It was worth the trip.
