Wanted to try a little diner after church. We aren’t regulars to the area. Our waitress was friendly, however, we watched her touch just about everything with her bare hands including our food. No gloves at any point and she only washed her hands after I said something to another worker who was nearby. Cleanliness definitely needs work!! We live and learn and will not return to this one.

The food and the service was excellent. The waitress did not constantly annoy us by asking every 2 minutes if we needed anything, and she did not just hide from us either. Was only 1 little thing I would have changed and that was the grilled onion and mushroom cheeseburger could of used a little more mushrooms and cheese, but it was rather good despite that. Will definitely visit again in the near future.

I ordered a ham n cheese omelette. It wasnt a traditional folded omelette. It was more like a frittata folded over. It was a little overdone for my taste. The potatoes and toast were very good.
My husband ordered eggs, hash, potatoes and a side of gravy for his biscuit. He loved everything.
Service was excellent.
Prices I thought were a little high.

Great food, great atmosphere, great staff, great service.
I got the honey mustard chicken sandwich with fries and a salad. My food came quickly and was hot and delicious. The staff was very friendly, the service was fast, prices were reasonable.

First off, when we got up to the front door, the smell of natural gas slapped me right in the face…before we even crossed the threshold. Should have been a sign to leave! We asked the waitress, “Do you smell natural gas?” She stated it is always like that when they first open things up. The waitress and “regulars” were awesome! The food was terrible, and I am NOT a picky eater The toast was soggy, the sausage links were super salty Brown-N-Serve, the potatoes were cool, and the eggs tasted powdered.( although, I don’t know, just my opinion) This restaurant felt very dirty, and they really should look into that gas issue!

The food wasn’t good, service was okay, the restroom was filthy and I couldn’t tell if that was blood on the wall or not. The sign says best food in town, please remove that from under the sign. I hope this place can be better.

Average This is a fairly average restaurant for the type of place it is. Our server forgot who ordered what (there were only two of us), a salad, and that we also placed a to go order. I’d return but still Not Recommended

The sign says “best food in town”… NOT! Hubs and I had ‘meat and eggs’ breakfast. Fortunately I asked ahead of ordering whether the biscuits were made here or not… waitress said “we heat them up here”. Ha! We both chose pancakes rather than biscuits with our eggs, meat, and hash browns. The eggs were good, hub’s sausage was not. The pancakes were average, definitely from a cheaper boxed mix. The pecans I asked to be added made them edible. Hash browns were made of real sliced potatoes (probably baked potatoes from yesterday?!?) and were good but not great because of the oil. Bacon was crisp and thin sliced but greasier than normal. Patted it off and it was good. Expected more homemade food at a diner in Napannee, IN. I’ll be visiting an Amish restaurant next time.

Was trying to eat lunch with my girl, and we keep hearing an unpleasant noise the whole time we were eating. Sounded like kids screaming. We asked our waitress if she could get the soumds to stop, then after she went back, the cook ended up coming out, wailing his arms like he owned the place. Will not go back I’m a disabled vet and to be honest it was the first time in a long time I felt I was going to slap someone.
