This review is for the Le Mars location. The food is good, but the workers are all teenagers and it seems like they are confused on which orders to do first. I’ve been in here to dine in as a customer and as a door dasher and the wait time is 10-20 minutes each time. They seem to bounce around on orders and have very little true guidance. They do seem to focus mostly on the drive through and they seemingly forget about their dine in customers. I’ve seen them get orders for their friends out fast, and have people they don’t know wait longer times. Also, why are there no receipts for this? They have been known forget to ask for names. I truly think they just need more guidance to become a well oiled machine.

Taco John’s was always our favorite stop when we visited Grandma. But with the new ownership there seems to be a real lack of leadership on site. Breaks my heart a little to know we will probably never go back. Our local relatives encouraged us to double check our bag, as the last several times their meals have been missing items. We tried to count items when they brought out the bag but we had 8 people to feed and all the food was stuffed into 1 bag. When we got to the house, we found we were missing a burrito. We made do without it. The food was mediocre; oles were undercooked. We went back later to ask for a refund on the missing item and it was “impossible” because we paid with a card. I am sure it is overwhelming to be the only adult in a restaurant, but it was clear that employee was not the owner. Perhaps if there was some mentorship and some tweaking of the system the ship can turn. But people should get the food they pay for, every time.

Came in with family.. had an extra daycare kid with us as well ordered then found out this place does not have a single high chair.. so 2 kiddos on a lap .. food was soggy… potato oleys were mashed potatoes pretty much.. Will choose other options next trip into lemars with the kids..

42 minutes from time stamped on receipt tell i got my foodSimple #8. When people started asking about orders. 1 lady working got pretty short with a customer. Don’t know what the deal was. Many people walked out it will definitely be awhile before I go back.

Placed an order for food and the checkout girl was really rude, then half the order was messed up, items missing and she was rude when we were nice. To top it off they left there dirty glove in the bag!!!!!! Who does that?!

Well not complaining completely the boy did bring my order out to me in the drink area but the food is not for grown men. Not like the ones I been too. It’s not worth the price,even tho they got my order wrong, so it’s okay.

Major improvements inside. Looks brighter, cleaner, and spacer. Appeared busier than when I have been in the past so that was good. It appeared they had some new employees that we learning so it appeared a bit off, but working very hard to get the food out and correctly. Staff friendly and and even though appeared to be struggling just a little bit, still kept a smile on there face!
