I have been here twice and have been pleased both times. To look at it from the outside you don’t expect much, when you get inside you’re still a little unsure until you get your food. The alligator app was flavorful and came with a semi-spicy dipping sauce. The fried squash was cooked perfectly and came with a thick ranch that paired perfectly. The fried shrimp and clams were a generous helping of both that came with 2 sides that I doubled up with fried okra. All of the above was fried perfectly, nice golden brown with a delicious batter.
The staff was very friendly and I got my food in a very timely manner. I will definitely be going back.

Blackbeard’s Seafood & Steaks has moved from Vidalia to Claxton, GA, but the move has not changed the excellent quality of their delicious cuisine. Their butterfly [butterflied] shrimp are so tender and savory, I wanted a second helping even after I was full and satisfied. The staff are professional, courteous, and conscientious, even to the point of anticipating the needs of their customers. I felt welcome from the time I walked in until I left with a smile and a belly full of scrumptious seafood. I’ll be back soon!
