If you truly love real ice cream, you have to try Oberweis. The moment you take the first bite, you can taste the difference — rich, creamy, and made with real dairy goodness. It feels less like a regular ice cream stop and more like experiencing old-fashioned premium ice cream the way it was meant to be.
What I loved the most is how smooth and fresh every flavor tastes. It’s not overly sweet, just perfectly balanced and incredibly satisfying. The quality reminds you that simple ingredients and careful preparation can still create something amazing.

The peanut butter cookie dough ice cream was quite delicious and not overly sweet. Sooooo creamy and good! Paired with a chocolate dipped waffle cone was the best choice ever!
We were served quickly and everyone was friendly. I’d love to try the shakes next time. And purchase a pie or cheesecake too!
The attached burger joint restaurant also sparked our curiosity for our next visit.
Thanks Oberweis for an amazing first time visit! We are now fans for life!

We’ve used Oberweis Dairy home delivery for years. It’s a real convenience, and their product are almost all uniformly excellent – high quality. I especially like their regular milk, and my wife likes their skim milk.
In the past year or so they’ve greatly expanded what they have available such as nut, granola, and other snacks. Their potato chips are the best we’ve ever eaten. For Thanksgiving we ordered a pumpkin pie and a cheesecake – both top notch. This is a case of you get what you pay for. Yes, the prices are a bit higher than our supermarket, but the quality and convenience are worth it, especially in the recent bad weather.

Delicious ice cream, nostalgic ambience and great tasting sugar waffle cones. The girls couldn’t tell me what lactose free milk costs though. It is so cool that one can buy fresh milk in refillable glass bottles-just like in my childhood! Lots of parking and child friendly.

Our first time here, my daughter enjoyed her s’mores flavor. Very nice seating area, interesting items in the fridge, plenty of parking, a very nice ice cream place in general!
Would be nicer if staff were a bit happier!!! Let’s hope they are treated well, never blame a staff member, question the training and/or management style!

I’ve been a loyal customer at this Oberweis location for 1.5 years, visiting twice a week. Today’s visit was very disappointing. The associate didn’t ask for my rewards number, bottle returns, or offer a bag for the ice cream. I had to request everything, and still waited several minutes just to get a bag. The service felt unresponsive, and it honestly made me reconsider coming back.

They still offer delivery of milk and other products in the same recyclable glass bottles. Their product line has greatly deepened, now including lemonade, iced tea, even eggs and bacon.
But the Big treat is their own ice cream! Every one of their flavors can be hand packed quarts, cones or dishes and either eat in, or drive through.

We went through the drive through today and although the service was “fast” the food left us sick and unimpressed. The fries were cold (like ice cold) and the chicken we couldn’t even chew (think of a dog trying to rip a treat out of your hands- like rubber). We ended up throwing it all away (almost $30 worth of food) after three bites then 12 hours later I’m now vomiting. Wouldn’t recommend.

Oberweis is first and foremost delicious. It is run by truly the most generous owner and management. They sponsor our Special Olympics team each year when we come down for our State competition. The athletes look forward to the visit. It is obvious the owner and management really care about their community! I would highly recommend this location!!

The sugar in the ice cream is spot on, not less and not more. We had traditional strawberry ice cream with waffle cone and lava cake. Both tastes good. I would definitely recommend this place to at-least try once.
