We go here all the time because their food is normally amazing. However, today was a different experience. The tenders were old and dry. The rolls we received were wrinkled, dry, and stale. As soon as I took a bite I had to spit it out. I’m not sure what changed today but it needs to go back to the way it used to be.

Went to the golden chick in gun barrel city for dinner at 6:15 pm check 2057 the store was clean we ordered the cashier was nice took the order correctly. Gave us our drink cups first no ice had to go back to the counter to get it second no unsweet tea back to the counter. Out order came in a timely manner but not what we had ordered a two piece fried but got backed pointed out to the manger he did correct that when got to the table missing extra roll and husband had 6 chicken tenders and Mac and cheese. Got the tenders and massed potatoes by this time we were over it we will not be back

I ordered 24 wings and in fried okra. Well okra had 15 pieces. The wings half wicked and lemon pepper. Start eating on my way home from Gun Barrel and a long hair was in my wings .

Fantastic customer service! We order several hundred meals for our band playing in Mabank. They were so easy to work with setting up our large order. I come in here almost everyday and get 2 big and golden combos. Everyday I’m in here I get treated the best I ever have in any fast food joint. Ladonna is always smiling and eager to help. The food is always fresh and hot. The employees are nice and always up for a good chat. Definitely recommend eating here!

Fred is amazing. He donated 30 3 piece tender meals on November 15th to help feed the Mabank High School Pantherettes. The girls along with all the booster club members greatly appreciated the donation and will definitely make sure to support our local restaurants that help support us.
