Gaza Ramen and Sushi

Tried it with my girlfriend for the first time last night and it was an amazing experience. We sat at the bar and the atmosphere was great. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing the fish tasted very fresh and you could tell the people working there enjoyed their jobs. We definitely will be going back and if you are from the area or passing through it is definitely worth stopping here or going out for a date night or dinner.

This was our first time visiting. I found Gaza, Raman and Sushi, when searching for local places recommended for dinner on TripAdvisor and Yelp.

We were very happy with our meal choices and my daughter loved having the tea come out in a full-size teapot that we could pour ourselves.

They have a nice selection of Japanese and Korean items for appetizers as well as meals. There’s a very good chance there would be something for everyone here if some of your parties do not like sushi.

It’s okay to mediocre. I they think need to decide who they want to be. You can’t be good at everything. Are you a Chinese restaurant? Your seafood friend rice tells me no. Are you a ramen place? Are you a Korean restaurant? The ramen is just okay. Are you a Japanese restaurant? I sure hope not, the sushi isn’t great, and sometimes just bad. Compare the sushi quality to Fujiyama in town and you’ll see what I mean. And please, for goodness sake, just give us packets of soy sauce, not the triple wrapped plastic containers that are virtually impossible to open. This place needs a reboot and a new mission.

This was some of the freshest & best tasting sushi I’ve ever had. The presentation was also on point. The staff was attentive & very nice. Not to mention the size of the rolls – crazy big for what I’m used to. Very rarely do I feel the need to tip big for the guy making the sushi (I usually leave a few bucks) but this guy deserved $10 just for the sushi. The ramen was also delicious. 10/10 recommend this spot. We will back for sure!!!

My first visit here was with my mother who spoke highly of this place! Of course I took her recommendations, along with trying some things of my own. I love tea, and their green tea is delicious. I had steamed edamame and an egg roll for my appetizer. Edamame was delicious, and the egg roll was a little bit sweet but I actually loved it. My mother recommended the Bool Go Gi, she wasn’t wrong…it was absolutely scrumptious. I didn’t leave a speck on that plate. It also came with a side of white rice and miso soup. I have gone back many times since then and yes I normally get that same main dish. This last visit my boyfriend tried the firecracker (a sushi lover) and he loved it. I also tried the asparagus and the cucumber/avocado roll which were both very yummy. We also got bubble teas to try, the taro and mango with boba, and they definitely hit the spot. I wish they made the sushi bar area and actual place that people could sit up at to order just sushi or to have the experience of watching an expert make it. I definitely plan on visiting frequently as they have not disappointed me yet! I highly recommend!

Awesome little spot for authentic Ramen and sushi. Everything is fresh and delicious. Ramen bowl had plenty of noodle , chicken and a few gyoza in it. Broth was super good. Sushi was super professional and fresh. Hot green tea was really good and refreshing with the sushi and soup. Highly recommended if you are in the area looking for good Ramen and sushi. Friendly and fast service.

My favorite sushi place in the whole entire world! This is the best sushi place around you cannot get any better sushi than Gaza Sushi & Ramen. I love their ramen as well it’s so authentic & delicious. The freshness & quality of any dish you order is 100000000% always. Every bite is perfection. My boyfriend & I come here all the time & we are always pleased & satisfied. We live in Pennsylvania but we come to Jersey just to get Gaza Sushi. The environment in the restaurant is chill & they usually have soft Jaz music playing. This gives a comfortable & relaxing ambience. Overall, such a great place to eat. I hope one day they will have a Gaza sushi & Ramen #2 in PA. Until then, we will keep coming back to Jersey

I stopped by Gaza Ramen and Sushi when I was craving sushi late in pregnancy, and they went above and beyond to accommodate me! They made sure my roll was fully cooked and altered it to fit my needs. The food was fresh and delicious, and their kindness made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Update: They gave us a package of matcha green tea bags to take home, how sweet!

They have great Korean and Japanese food! We tried the bulgogi, tonkatsu ramen, mango tango roll, sweet potato roll, taro bubble smoothie, and fried green tea ice cream. Not only were the staff very kind, but the inside of the restaurant was comfortable. I have to come back here!
