La Rosa Michoacana is one of those places you keep going back to because when it hits, it really hits. However, the food can be a little hit-or-miss depending on the day, but when it’s good, it’s deliciously worth it. Their birria tacos with cheese are my absolute favorite, rich, cheesy, crispy, and so satisfying. And don’t skip the salsa bar! So many super authentic options so you can customize your plate exactly how you like it.
The real rockstars here, though, are the bakery and ice cream cases. The pan dulce, cakes, paletas, and frozen treats are always fantastic. Prices have crept up, but the quality in the dessert section seems to be consistent.
As for the space: bathrooms are usually pretty clean, but sometimes the dining area looks like it needed yesterday’s cleaning crew to swing back by. Still, it has that lively Mexican bakery vibe that kind of adds to the experience.
Overall: if you want authentic flavors, amazing sweets, and a salsa bar that makes you feel like a kid in a candy store, La Rosa is absolutely worth the stop, just catch it on a good day and you’re golden.

This place has great food! Honestly some of the best carnitas I have ever had. They do a daily special which is a great price. They have a nice salsa bar with some really good salsas. Chips are extra and come out with your food, but they are warm and crisp. The jalapeño cheese tamal didn’t have very much cheese in it. Beans were good! They have a wide variety of baked goods and ice creams for sale as well. Great place to bring your kids for a sweet treat!

I go back continuously for there hot cheetos burrito. They sell lots of desserts and baked goods as well, Very delicious. Great place to eat. I love that they have the drive thru window operating it makes it much more convenient.
