Me and my son went and the food was good somewhat bland and perfect portion serving also since I’m not from Dallas I wasn’t aware that you needed to ask for the bread so just keep that in mind when going. We ordered the pasta combo, lasagna, and meatball sub. When entering you are greeted and the service was very quick and friendly. The restaurant very clean and the restroom was clean as well. The service was absolutely excellent.
Also it’s very interesting cause where I’m from I have not seen it but at this family owned restaurant they have that you are allowed to B.Y.O.B.. We observed three families enjoying their meals with bottles of wine so that was very interesting.

I did not dine in, so this review is of a pizza and salad I had delivered last night. I am a close neighbor of Franki’s and have ordered many times over the years with great satisfaction, However since October of 2025 I have ordered 4 times, maybe 5 for pizza and salad delivery to my home, I believe all of which were from the ‘new’ owner. Of the 4 times, twice I was very disappointed with the pizza, it was just not the same and last night was indeed the case. The toppings were very sparse (compared to previous experiences) and the pizza was cold, not what I would expect when I live about 1 mile from Franki’s. The delivery was, however, faster than I was quoted, so congrats on that. The salad this time was finally very good, fresh with good quantity for the price, but very disappointed with the house dressing, my personal opinion.
I know new owners sometimes have difficulty maintaining previous quality and I sincerely hope the new owner(s) will eventually rise to the challenge.

The pizzas are tasty and the service from the staff is super friendly. They also have a super sized pizza which we got and is good for at least 4 adults. We are used to NY style pizza and while this was not the same it was pretty close in dough taste and thickness. Parking is also plentiful as it is on a strip. Do stop by if you are looking for a quick bite.

I absolutely LOVE this restaurant. Aside from their food being amazing the workers are so kind and helpful. Everytime I come they give such a warm welcome. The owners are so kind and they put so much thought into making their customers happy. OMG their pizza is absolutely amazing. We ordered so many boxes for our daughter’s party and they finished orders on time, food was amazing, and everyone was highly impressed. The best pizza in Dallas!

This place is really swell, clean atmosphere, attentive service. The food didn’t disappoint. We started with a cesar salad was fresh & crunchy. Calamari was fried to perfection. I had veal parmesan, my sister had the chicken Parmesan both very fantastic and filling dishes. Garlic & rolls wasn’t the best, got cold quickly, not enough garlic on the slice of bread. The pizza was the grand finale! All the toppings complimented the overall experience. The owner franki’s came through & made sure that my family and I were well taken care of.

Absolutely hands down one of the tastiest restaurants weve had in a long time! Food was spectacular and customer service was amazing! Will definitely be back!

Had the single most mid calzone since I left New York. Crust far too thin, and the cheese, not sure what the mix was, but there was a distinct lack of the proper grain of ricotta. The marinara for dipping was ok.
Won’t go back.
Appreciate the business feedback. Yes, everyone has preferences, and yes, this is different from NY. It may be someone else’s cup of tea.
If you’re a NY/NJ transplant, Sali’s in Garland remains the Gold Standard for authentic East Coast calzone/stromboli.

It’s been a while since we have been back. Decided to have lunch. We were the only customers at first, and they were very slow. The owner was serving tables. Order the lunch special Chicken Marsala, which comes with a drink and salad. The chicken was very dry and overcooked! Sauce was ok. Not much can go wrong with pre-made Marsala sauce. I did not finish the dry chicken. Wife ordered the lunch cheese ravioli. It was cooked in a casserole dish, too much tomato sauce. It was ok. Not the quality we thar we remember from our last visit!
Be aware that they do charge you a service fee for using your credit card! Should let your customer know! I would have paid cash. Probably will not be back! Very disappointing!!

First you have to start with the fact this is a family owned place so the recipes are unique, the ambiance brings in the warmth of Italy with luxury drapes and oil paintings all around. The lunch special was under $10 and offered a dinner portion, side salad and drink! The service was so pleasant that she really stood out with a positive attitude and energy! She was accommodating in the extra questions she asked and the service was perfect- fast to receive a drink, my side salad and the complimentary bread followed. I ordered the Chicken Picata, they gave a plentiful portion of toppings (this dish comes with 5 veggies), the pasta was cooked well and the chicken was tender. The sauce was just enough to cover the dish and let me dip my dread in (which I love to do)!
