The barrel tasty brewery tour is one of the best brewery tours that I have experienced. Great value, knowledge guide, fantastic beers. Drink straight from the barrels, one rare bottle of beer included in the package plus discount on beer purchased (which I did). Plenty of parking. Usually swag for sale plus regular beers, rare beers and a nice variety of beers on tap. Highly recommend visiting.

Pretty basic tasting room with a small indoor area and some food trucks outside. They run tours regularly but we didn’t try it. Good selection of beers though including some tap room exclusives.

Went here for an amazing tour.
Rachel, our tour guide, was very informative, personable, and excited on our tour! You can really tell how much pride goes into brewing some of the best beer on the West coast. Lane, our main brewtender, was also amazingly kind and informative.
It was really awesome to hear the history and progression of brewing at Deschutes, and really makes you appreciate every sup of tasty goodness these guys put out.
If you’re in the Bend area for the day, make this a stop.

This review is for the R&D Tour. Our guide was awesome, very knowledgeable, and gave us a great behind the scenes experience. Samples from the Brite Beer tanks are not to be missed. Highest recommendation!

Very cool brewery and tour. We got lucky and got a private tour giving us direct attention from our tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and adorable! (Reminded us of a favored family member) The brewery has a lovely story and admirable history. I appreciate the owners values to the process as a whole, especially including the employees in the growth from their efforts. I loved the personal touches added everywhere making it a second home to the employees to be proud of. I enjoyed the brew creating area, where the magic happens with new flavors. Everything was extremely clean and well cared for. Everyone working was super friendly and happy to be there. I highly recommend stopping through. (I remember selling this beer back in the early 90’s as a bartender, and now I see where it all began, very cool!)
