Great spot with plenty of history and delicious food. The Ahi Tuna & Burrata salad are great starters and the Sea bass was spot on delectable.

Only reason for 4 stars was service could have been better.

Wine was uncorked and poured prior to being served, & slight mix up on the wings seasoning. But I’d encourage some training for how to present and serve wine.

However the ambiance and setting are hard to beat in the heart of Detroit. Will definitely revisit if I make it to the Motor City again.

The space is gorgeous with plenty of potential, but the service and food are not on point. We waited about ten minutes to get two glasses of rosè that were on the menu (after the test of the group had their drinks). The kitchen found it hard to put out hot food. The soup was hot, other than that, the other hot entrees were room temp. This included the onion rings that were cold and soggy with oil.

One of our group ordered the calamari. Unfortunately, most of our group were done with our food when hers came out. There was no apology or acknowledgement until I suggested one may be in order. They did give her a complimentary glass of wine for the trouble.

The tuna (a cold dish) was delicious and came out when it should have.

Overall, service was inattentive and seemed uncaring. The food that was meant to be hot wasn’t, and the timing of drinks and food was poor. I’ll give them some time to improve before we return to enjoy their beautiful space.

We’ve ate here at the Bohemia Detroit Club 2 nights in a row and I’m afraid we’ll be eating here again on our third night. It’s been nothing but fantastic service and amazing food. Highly recommend the Ahi tuna, Steak Frites and the Cheesecake, 10/10 will be visiting again

I’ve frequented the Library numerous times but recently visited the restaurant twice this month with friends — and it just gets better and better. Our server Jonathan S. was not only friendly and welcoming but extremely knowledgeable about the menu, history of the building, and on-site offerings such as the upstairs cigar and billiards lounge. Had the most luxurious ribeye and octopus of my life. Detroit Club is quickly becoming my favorite place in the city.

A group of 10 of us came here for my birthday. This was a Saturday night, and we had a 7:30 reservation. The initial round of drinks came out promptly as did the appetizers. We placed our dinner order when the apps came out.

Then the service slowed way down. We finished our drinks and appetizers and then waited for anyone to come check on us. I had to ask a busser to go find our server to get another round of drinks before the main course arrived.

We finished those drinks before dinner finally got to us.

The manager was clearly unhappy that I was commenting on how long everything was taking and our vegetarian friend had his “entrée” beet salad come out and it was barely a couple bites of food. The server was aware he was vegetarian when he took the order and should have told him it was such a small portion.

We won’t be back. For the price, and given that the place wasn’t busy at all, there was not an acceptable excuse for the slow service and the manager’s attitude.

Had a disappointing dining experience at Bohemia. The food quality was reminiscent of cruise ship fare, and my calamari and shrimp appetizer felt more like a hot fried mash. The dipping sauce was a watered-down version of 1000 island dressing. The Caesar salad had the same issue with diluted ranch like dressing on a few leaves of lettuce. The salmon was overcooked, salty, with a grayish tone to it and the mashed potatoes tasted like they came from a box. The best part was that our waiter was friendly and polite. My advice: Stay at the Detroit Club but avoid the restaurant for a better dining experience. Total money wasted: $230 for two. Bohemia rating:⭐️⭐️

Johnathan and Natalie were excellent!! Johnathan was so informative about the history of the building and the restaurant, and Natalie’s smile lit up the room while giving us excellent service!! The drinks were delicious and so was the food. I recommend the wings with lemon pepper. The lemon pepper seasoning was to die for. What made the night, though, was the service.

Had an amazing evening!! We went with 2 other couples . It started out with Eve in the bar, she was so knowledgeable and made us the most amazing cocktails. Then we moved to the dinning area where Keri was our waitress. Her suggestions for wine and dinner were spot on!! She was fun and very attentive to our entire party. Dinner was 5 stars all around , as many of us are foodies. After dinner we followed up with Valerie who gave us a lovely tour of this beautiful Detroit Club!! All in all it was an incredible experience with our friends!! We will definitely be back!! Thank you to the entire staff who made our visit so charming and memorable!!
