We decided to stop by this spot because the menu caught our eye, and the cozy vibe of the place pulled us in. Our instincts were spot on! Greeted by a warm and friendly host, we went with a classic Flammkuchen and a chicken and Emmentaler salad. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, but the Flammkuchen really stood out—it was perfectly crispy, well-topped, and simply fun to eat. The salad had a unique seasoning that made it equally enjoyable.
To complement the meal, we each had a glass of Riesling, and for being in the city center, we found the prices to be very reasonable. If you’re in the mood for an outstanding Alsatian Flammkuchen in a rustic, laid-back setting, this is definitely the place to be!

Service is really good, place is cosy and warm but food wise not the best place in town. Yes the food is alright good but quantity wise it’s a bit lacking for the price and type of plate you order (except maybe for the salad that seemed huge).
Order a Tarte flambée or salad and you’ll be fine. For baeckeoffe or choucroute I think there are better addresses to go to (if you want value / taste for money).

Had a great lunch at Brasserie Le Vintage on April 21, 2023. Super nice owner, delicious food, terrific sidewalk cafe ambiance. We had the Tarte Flambée (Alsatian pizza) with cheese, bacon, onion, & mushrooms on it- Fantastic! We also had the potato pancake salad.. 2 big potato pancakes smothered with bacon & melted cheese over greens. Unique, excellent salad.
A highly enjoyable & memorable meal that nicely rounded out our day in Strasbourg.

Absolutely fantastic experience! Mr Jack, and the restaurant created such joyful memories together! This small but charming place truly blew me away! I was pleasantly surprised by how wonderful the time turned out to be. Everything was simply excellent, and I couldn’t stop smiling! What a delightful visit!

Choucroute is actually just some sour cabbage, slightly cooked and some pork processed meats. I’ve had way better meals based on these ingredients. Average Cordon bleu, nice cold beer.

We were there for a short coffee break. Location was central, capuccino was not the typical cappucino you have (they put whipped cream, and for us it’s a nice addition). Crepe Nutella was nice. Service was friendly, price was not overpriced, and the building waa beautiful 🙂

Fast service and big portions. We went here for lunch after 14:00, when most other places were closed.
Service was fast and friendly, the portions big and tasty. Price is ok as well.

Fantastic tarte flambée, cold beer and a super nice owner that clearly cares about his guests. The food arrived quickly and the tables outside have a really nice ambience. Not cheap, but not outrageous. What else can you ask for?

The Tarte flambee was very delicious but the customer service was quite an experience.. at first we had to wait for ages for our dishes to be delivered only to find that one of three was missing. We had to wait for half an hour for the remaining tarte flambee which was brought to us only after reminding them and after the first two had already long finished theirs.
If you are lucky and get everything on time, then this place is great but it seemed that the kitchen was a little bit overwhelmed even though there were not many people there
