We visited our son in San Antonio and decided to grab a quick bite while waiting for him. We chose Daddy O’s because of the great Google reviews and were pleasantly surprised to find it’s a taco truck parked among other food trucks. The area felt safe, with good lighting, plenty of outdoor seating, and lots of families coming by. I ordered the birria tacos for the first time—holy moly, they were absolutely delicious! The salsa took the flavor to another level. Highly recommend giving this place a try.

Absolutely delicious! Definitely one of our fave eats here in San Antonio. ❤️ Hubby ordered the Al pastor tacos w/charros, mexi fries, and birria for take out tonight (Oct 17th). Everything had fresh ingredients and seasonings on all meats/sauces were spot on. The watermelon agua fresca is like candy, yum! Thank you for the wonderful food.

Ok, the hubs got the mini tacos, I got the mexi-fries with picadillo. We were seriously surprised with the flavors! So good, great portion size, even better value. The green and red salsas are perfect, not too much pica. Bonus, 3 minutes from home. I’m seeing lots of evening time there as the cooler weather moves in.

This is my first time at this food truck with my family. My first impression is that this place is working hard to make a place where all customers feel welcome. It’s only when you taste the food that you realize this place is a gem and the customer service goes above and beyond. I had asada street tacos and the flavor is amazing. I haven’t had tacos with this flavor in a long time, so I highly recommend that order. Next I order 4 birria tacos and OMG you have to try Daddy O’s birria tacos! They are the best I’ve had so far. The next order was Mexi fries (asada). I couldn’t believe how great this food tasted. I must go back again for the Mexi fries, and the amount is very generous. Thank you Daddy O’s Cocina for this delicious food! You have no idea how your food made my day as well as my family. We all enjoyed it to the last bite, we are impressed! I see this food is prepared with love to satisfy your customers, please keep it that way! If that’s not enough the prices are unbelievable. I will definitely recommend this place to family and friends. And I call for all the readers to support this family business they got it right. Their customer service is also on point. Five stars for me!

They are super generous for the price, and the Birria is really good.
The consumme is a little more on the saucy side, I prefer mine a bit more brothy, but if you like it as more of a spicy tomato sauce, then it just comes down to personal taste.

Great service! Quesa Birrias were good and so were the tortas. They get pretty busy and they sometimes run out of stuff, so go early if you can!
