A very healthy menu and variety with lots of vegan options also. Place is full of cultural history also. Then at night it’s a very popular club.

Terrible experience at Sandtrap. The lady taking orders was extremely rude and dismissive. When we expressed our concerns, she actually said, “This is the trap—what do you expect?” Unbelievable. Definitely not coming back.

Run away from this place! Do not go there ! live in Atlanta and visited this place while I was there for homecoming. We paid $30 each to get in. Me and my partner. As we entered the establishment I noticed that all the sections and chairs were topped off and the few chairs at the bar was occupied so I asked where do we sit? I was told to ask the owner so I asked him and he said we have to pay $100 each for a chair to sit down. This did not sit well with me. If this was the case they should have stated this when we paid $60 to get in. Then we would have chose another place to patronize. There was multiple people standing at the bar as well and when I spoke with them they said he also tried to get over on them as well. Some people told me they did not pay for a chair but they were sitting. looks like he was trying to make extra money but was going about it the wrong way! So I noticed the security guard brought a chair to a lady and the owner tried to tell me she just paid $100 to sit down. I went to ask the lady did she pay and she said no. So I went to the owner and he kept lying saying she paid and then he admitted that she did not! I had to keep going round and round with him for 30 minutes and he finally gave us somewhere to sit! But I should not have to go around in circles with the owner just to be able to sit down! The owner is extremely money hungry and do not treat his customers right! I sat and watched him do this to several women after they paid to get in! It was an awful sight to watch! I had to leave because watching him do this was sickening to my stomach! They don’t sell food! There is a restaurant next door and a lady walks around to take your order. Took her an hour to get my order!

A very successful private event but beware there is music coming from two different rooms on either side of this one depending on the time of your event. If nothing else is going on at the time of your event this is the perfect place….lots of parking and the place is really nice. The restaurant in the same building has pretty good food too
