Few foods conjure up the universal appeal of bread and cinnamon rolls, and even fewer are as decadent when you combine them together. It’s soft, pillowy, and fragrant with the scent of fresh cinnamon and butter, topped with sweetened cinnamon sugar, and drizzled with cream cheese icing. Founded in 2020, Wicked Bread Co. has relocated to the beautiful City of Plantation and transitioned into their very own brick and mortar location. This is more than bread…it’s a party for your taste buds!

Located in a bit of a secluded area of Plantation right off the eastbound side of I-595, Wicked Bread is nested in the discreet Turtle Run Plaza of the Jacaranda community (if you are indeed comimg from the interstate you might have to whip a U-y at New River Canal Road to get to the entrance closes to Wicked).
As you walk into Wicked Bread, you will immediately encounter the spooky/Witch motif and decor that gives playful homage to the name of the bakery. It definitely offers an alternative antique shoppe type of feel as you peruse the art that line the walls of the bakery.
The staff were friendly and inviting, offering advice where needed. However, I was there with a purpose – which was to dive head first into this famous cinnamon bread (for transparency, I actually did not realize this is what the place specialized in and was known for, and came to the realization after reviewing the location once we were in the area). At the recommendation of one of the bakers/staff, I went with the original and picked up some empanadas to go.
We could have went without the empanadas (they were ok), but the OG cinnamon bread slaps. It was extremely decadent and rich. Sure, you can use utensils to dissect the specimen as it sits in its aluminum bed like a proper individual – but the soft, tender bread beckons you to tear through it with your hands. Needless to say, napkins are a must.
We did not end up using the cream cheese/frosting dip as it was already perfect the way it was. Going back to the flavor, the original contained the perfect blend of cinnamon to bread ratio. Each piece was buttery and a joy to chew into. We ended up savoring the bread through to the next day.
Will definitely come here again next time we are in the area – looking at the bacon one next time. Definitely recommend to anyone passing through to stop by!
Two stars. We tried both the original and the Cinnamon Toast Crunch version, and unfortunately both were overwhelmed with cinnamon to the point of tasting dry. The cinnamon-to-sugar balance is off and could really use more sweetness to even things out. It also doesn’t eat like a traditional cinnamon roll…it’s more like bread soaked in a heavy cinnamon mixture. Icing was tasty. On the plus side, the space is creative and fun, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Walking into the Wicked Bread Company feels like stepping through a doorway into a spellbinding, witchy little world tucked right inside SoFlo. Their classic cinnamon bread? Absolutely divine — warm, soft, perfectly sweet, and easily one of the most delicious things I’ve tasted in ages.
But what really captured me was the ambiance. The moment you enter, you’re greeted by glowing fireplaces, bubbling cauldrons, and a Halloween-meets-fairytale atmosphere that feels like a cozy spell being cast around you. It’s whimsical, creative, and refreshingly different in a world where everything has become so minimalist and sterile. Here, you get to disappear into a whole fantasy — a place that invites you to slow down, savor, and escape reality for a bit.
And the pricing? Shockingly reasonable, especially for SoFlo. You can feel the love and creativity not just in the décor, but in the recipes themselves. Everything tastes unique, thoughtful, and crafted with intention.
Wicked Bread Company is magic — pure and simple. An absolute must-visit for anyone who wants delicious treats served with an enchanting experience you can’t find anywhere else.
The people are so nice and helpful! You cannot go wrong here.
It is the perfect place for a coffee and a sweet treat. They do not have traditional food items, breakfast/lunch. So bring your sweet tooth and enjoy!
if your looking for a brunch place just come here!
anyways here some videos and pictures.
My son loved his “Beery Terrifier” matcha latte — such a fun and delicious twist! The entire place was decorated to perfection — spooky, cozy, and totally Instagram-worthy.
On top of everything, the staff was incredibly sweet and welcoming, and the owner was so genuine — you can truly feel the passion and love poured into this place.
It’s the perfect spot to visit year-round, but it feels extra perfect in October. Definitely a must-visit for coffee and spooky-season lovers alike!
Their cinnamon bread is magnificent—rich, fulfilling, and worth every single bite. Today they even had the American Heritage Foundation’s a cappella kids group performing as practice, which was such a thoughtful gesture by the owner and added to the fun atmosphere.
A must-visit for anyone who loves unique spots with personality (and amazing bread).
Since then I’ve tried their iced coffees ( can’t recall which ones) but they have always been really good, can’t really go wrong, on our most recent trip they were having their scream items for the upcoming 7th installments release, can I just say I love that! As a fellow horror movie lover I appreciate this so much! I’m so happy to have this place close by, we also learned they will be having another release of specialty items/coffee for the brides release, so much fun and we will definitely be back for that
We purchased the Brownie, Rice Crispy and the Ghostface Chilla and let me just say I was In LOVE with that drink! it’s a lavender, white chocolate mocha latte with Marshmallow cold foam, I’ve never had lavender in my latte before so I was a little apprehensive but it was so tasty and refreshing and would 100% recommend, my husband isn’t a coffee drinker and even he really enjoyed it, the rice crispy was a great addition to have a few bites while drinking the latte, sweet but delish, and the brownie was also nice, for the first time had the the ham and cheese, Chorizo empanadas, both were also spot on with great flavor on the inside
The atmosphere and decor here is great, it’s very detailed, I love the spooky town they have on display, such a great touch and of course the cauldron with the icing, I really enjoy places that have a fun theme and nice service, cheers to many more years Wicked Bread Co, so grateful to have you apart of the plantation community
