Service is quite fast too. Definitely would come back to try the rest of their dishes.
For reference, we ordered crispy pork belly bites, sisig bowl, grilled garlic pork belly bowl, 808 plate with bbq chicken & pandan crush halo-halo.
Two thumbs up, way up!
Everything we ordered was excellent. The fried rice was incredibly tasty—probably my favorite dish—and the lumpia was right up there, too. Both were packed with flavor and really hit the spot.
There was no wait to be seated, and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. We were only in the area for a specific reason, so unfortunately, we don’t live nearby, but if we’re ever back in the area, we’ll definitely return.
We haven’t had Filipino food before, so we got an 808 mix plate with ribs & chicken, some garlic noodles, and cheesy adobo rolls. It was all yummy, and we will be coming back for sure to try other things. A+ life choice!
Main dish, I tried the 808 mix plate with chicken. Chicken was well cooked, sauce great, rice well done, macaroni salad (had too much sauce, but not bad), spam and shrimp really good – recommend this plate!!
We love their ube halo-halo loaded with ube ice cream and the usual halo-halo ingredients.
We also enjoyed their Ube tres leches dessert
Their Inihaw plate was delicious: I chose their Beef BBQ ribs, rice, Mac ‘n cheese, and green leafy salad with a tasty dressing was tasty and a lot of food for me.
All their Ube desserts are scrumptious…you can’t go wrong trying out any or ALL of them
I don’t remember the exact names of the dishes, but one was assorted meats with crispy rolls and shrimp, and the other was crispy pork belly. Portions were huge and the dishes looked great when served. Unfortunately, the actual taste was disappointing. The grilled meat was overly sweet from the BBQ sauce, and the macaroni salad was bland. The deep-fried rolls and shrimp were oily and soggy. It felt like they tried to cover the dryness of the meat by drenching it in sauce.
The worst was the crispy pork belly. Honestly, I couldn’t chew or swallow it, it was so dry and hard. I have healthy teeth and I’m only 40, but eating this gave me jaw pain and even a headache. I couldn’t finish even a quarter of it and packed the rest to take home, hoping to fix it by re-cooking, but ended up throwing it all away.
If this is authentic Filipino food, then I guess Filipino cuisine is just not for me.
