The food was good. It was a bit pricey considering the portion sizes.
The service wasn’t the best. I waited about 10 minutes before someone came to take my order. The crazy thing was, there were 2 employees sitting at a table. I get it if they were on break, but at least say something.

Great tacos. Beans and rice not flavorful. But I didn’t take a star away because the Lengua tacos deserved 6 starz!!! They are amazing!!!!! And Im from Texas…so that says a lot. I had Pastor…they were good as well …especially if you like pineapple. Had real pineapple in the meat mixture. And the cow head…OMG AMAZING and tender and delicious!!!!! Took one star off from service because place was expensive, but delicious food!!!!! Staff friendly.

I was recently in the Virginia Beach area and I happen to see this Mexican food place and decided to stop by and try it out. Upon arriving I ordered a basic California burrito. That being said it took around 25 minutes to get my order out and 2 people who ordered ahead of me some how got there order before mine. I didn’t make a fuss though no big deal I was being lenient. Anyways once I got my food after 25 minutes of waiting I went home and realized how small the burrito was for $18!
For reference there is a place in California called Primos where they sell huge burritos for the same price, about the size of your arm. So when I saw this I was pretty disappointed. I ended up biting into it and it happened to be full of rice. Now if anyone has ever had a real California burrito, you know a California burrito doesn’t have rice in it, it has Carne asada, guac, fries sometimes shredded cheese, sometimes sour cream. So when I bit into it I was pretty disappointed because it was predominantly Rice, with a little bit of meat and some fries, that’s it. That’s why I’m writing a 1 star review, I don’t recommend this place if you don’t want to get ripped off you can get more at Wendy’s for the same amount.

OMG! Sooo Good!. I walked in with no expectations. 10AM and I was surprised to see they were open. I ordered a breakfast burrito with chicken. So tasty. Highly recommend. The girl who took my order was super sweet.

I don’t usually review places but this was crazy. I got an order of the taco special they were good nothing special . A gringa with shrimp. It BARELY had any cheese the shrimp was cut into tiny pieces and the shrimp was already small. Barely any onions too or cilantro. It was literally the size of a kids quesadilla. 2 aguas which were just fine. In a regular size cup for $4 each. We also got an elote en vaso. For a whopping $50 dollars. I will say they are smart they have notated in the bottom of their receipts that that they not longer do refunds for the food LOL wonder why. No se de que parte de Mexico seran pero cuando han visto que una gringa venga asi. Y todavia quieren cobrar mas por el camaron y muy apenas le ponen . Overall don’t recommend.

I was so excited to try this place! I feel like this should be a prank. My fruit cup that was described as “watermelon, cucumber, mango, pineapple, and oranges, topped with lime and tajin” was a container of just mango and watermelon topped with nothing.
My tacos barely had any cilantro and onion on them. My eskite was so watery it felt like I was eating soup. $60 for absolute trash food. The young man up front was really nice, just not sure what was going on in the kitchen.

This place was all around amazing! From the way it looks, to the friendly helpful staff, to the taste of the food! The staff was very helpful with explaining the menu and how things work. Made me feel right at home. I tried beef tongue for the first time and it was very very good and tender. The street corn was super flavorful. The melon drink was so good I could of had another one. Definitely food made with love! I will be back soon! Maybe even tomorrow. Lol.

Quesotaco Birria w/ consone was delicious the Carne asada taco taste good, but lacked substance… needs more meat, my husband liked the Carne Asada plate and the Carne Asada Burrito. The Cucumber Lime Agua Fresca was good – had 2 – fresh like a Mojito, the guac was good but not a lot for the price. Don’t think the Chips were fresh.

Ordered this last night…I realize it was late and the restaurant was only open for meal delivery apps but the food was not good. I was shocked because everyone’s been raving about this place so I’ve been wanting to try it out for a while. I got 2 orders of 4 chicken tacos with the standard toppings (sour cream, cheese, tomato, lettuce) which cost about $31. Honestly, it was just not good. The meat was salty, the tacos were dry (hardly any toppings) , we asked for salsa and didn’t get any, plus our flour tortillas were stiff and did not seem cooked. Honestly I was very let down by this because the price and quality were not matching up and because of the local hype around this place. Someone please let me know if they had a better experience. Maybe I just caught them at a bad time? Hoping that is true.
