Went to Sinaloa Town in Lehi and ordered the Gobernador c/Pulpo. 4 tacos with season shrimp and octopus, a slice of avocado, onions, with mozzarella cheese on a corn tortilla. The orange sauce is alright, seemed a bit watered down compared to what I’ve had before. The seasoned shrimp is alright by itself and the octopus was tender and not chewy so they know how to prepare it well. The downside was the mozzarella cheese was so overpowering and absorbed all the seasoning that was all I could taste. If they can used maybe the crumbly queso fresco or some crema, that might pair better. They were very delicious tacos. I’ll have to try their other dishes to see what else is popular.

FIRST, a lot of the pictures and reviews by other reviewers before the summer or fall of 2025 are for a totally different place (Red Tacos?), and not this place. Do NOT come here for birria. But if you like tortilla chips as big as your hand, AMAZING seafood tacos, tostadas, and ceviche, you are in the right place. They also have an ingredient they call “beef jerky.” Just assuming it’s some kind of shredded beef. Entrees big enough for two.
There are also quesadillas and chicken nuggets and mac n cheese for kids.
Will return. Heads up- most the employees not great at English.

Extremely overpriced. The salsa was amazing! But that was the only thing that was amazing. The menu looks sooo good but is a bit pricey. Like the other reviewers, very little seafood for the amount of vegetables you get. Also way too much Tajin or whatever powder they put on top of the food.
Beware… The aguachilies dishes are RAW shrimp. It doesn’t say that on the menu and I sent it back. They brought me another with cooked shrimp. But they did not take off the one I sent back. So I paid for something I had returned raw.
Our server was nice, but she disappeared near the end of the meal and we had to call someone else over after waiting a while just so we could pay and leave.
Overall, we will not go back. Although maybe I’ll drop by to get a pint of their salsa.

First time coming. Right from the start of course waited about 10 min for a table, then once seated maybe 20 minutes waiting on our food, once we tried the first sip of my michelada the wait time was well worth it. Our food was clean, fresh and so delicious. Normally we would noticed like if a taste was off or lacking but not here, our food was just cold and fresh. Thank you.
Our waitresses was very helpful and very nice and we happened to show up at a busy time but still got treated very nice very attentive. Wanted to mention that for the price we got served very well portion.

I visited Sinaloa Town today with my family for the first time, and I have to say—we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant recently opened and has been generating a lot of buzz, so we decided to give it a try. It was packed and bustling when we arrived, but since it was Mother’s Day, that was expected.
The space itself is decently sized—not too big—and while the tables are a little close together, it didn’t take away from the overall dining experience. Each table is greeted with a bowl of tostadas and a small bowl of house-made chili sauce, which was a nice touch and added a bold kick to the meal.
I ordered the Gobernador with Pulpo tacos: four flour tortillas loaded with grilled octopus, melted cheese, and shrimp, served with avocado and onions. The flavors were fantastic, and the chili sauce really elevated the dish. The kids went with chicken nuggets and fries, so if you’re dining with someone who isn’t into seafood, there are still solid options for them.
One person in our group had the Surf and Turf tacos—steak and grilled shrimp on flour tortillas with melted cheese and a sweet, tangy dressing—also served with avocado and onions. They were flavorful and hearty. We also shared the Aguachile Verde (spice level 2) as an appetizer, and it ended up being my favorite dish of the night. It was fresh, vibrant, and absolutely delicious—I highly recommend it.

The salsa that they have at the tables was so delicious and the service was good. The owner even came out and checked with everyone to see if they needed anything.

If you like fish tacos or mexican seafood in general, check out Sinaloa Town in American fork (the name makes it difficult to find and no website). Pictures are accurate, the food is as good as it looks.
Couple of notes, the chips are whole corn tortillas and the salsa has a touch of mexican maggi in it which is unique, but tasty. The very best thing were the fish/shrimp/steak tacos hands down. The ceviche and coctel de camaron are great if you like such things, but the Town Tostada was also great (top recommendation from the waitress). I can’t wait to go back and try more.
Food is super authentic and they have a karaoke night if you are into such things.

Our family loved this place. We had the town ceviche along with the fish, shrimp and gobernador tacos. Everything was delicious and we ended up sharing our dishes because it all looked so amazing. The portions were large and the prices were very reasonable for mariscos. It’s a bit of a drive for us but well worth it. We’ll definitely be back!

The red aguachile has a different taste. It has a lot of pepper, and Clamato.Los Mo his was okay, it didn’t come with a lot of shrimp. The green house salsa is delicious.
