Review for Papa’s Pizza – Richmond Hill, GA
At Patriots Pros Roofing, we always make it a point to support local businesses wherever we go. While working in the Richmond Hill area, we decided to stop by Papa’s Pizza for lunch — and we’re really glad we did.
This was my first time visiting, and I have to say, it was really, really good. The place gives off that nostalgic vibe of how pizza places used to be — complete with a buffet, fresh salad bar, games, pinball machines, and that warm, cozy atmosphere that makes you want to stay a while.
The pizza was fresh and tasty, the service was friendly, and the whole experience just brought back great memories. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, I’d highly recommend stopping in for a bite.
Support local. Eat great.

Didn’t know this place was back there at first. But first off great communication between workers and customers. Got the food in a timely manner. And lastly the pizza is cooked just perfect. Keep up the good work will definitely return.

Stopped by this place on our way back from a long trip. So glad we did! The calzones were AWESOME (and freshly-made), the service was friendly and accommodating, and the prices were very fair. It took 15 minutes to make, but the wait for high-quality, freshly-made food was worth it. Definitely coming back if/when in the area!

I was driving through and stopped for the night at a hotel in Richmond Hill. An hour before they closed on New Year’s Day, I called to see if they delivered. They were incredibly prompt with the delivery and very nice to order from. I’d definitely buy pizza there.

I’ve lived here for seven years and never tried Papa’s Pizza. I always ordered from those chain pizza places. I was so disappointed in myself. I wasted seven years eating cardboard pizzas! Papa’s Pizza is the best! I ordered it delivered to my house (Belfast barely has any food delivery here). When I got it the pizzas were still warm and the boneless chickens were still warm. And guess what? The pizzas didn’t taste like cardboard lol It was so fluffy and loaded with toppings! And the boneless chickens which are usually just mushy flour no meat at other places but at Papa’s pizza looked like they had real white chicken meat. I’m so glad I finally tried Papa’s Pizza. From now on I’ll never order from those chain pizza places again!

Pizza is good we ordered Detroit style. It is the best Detroit style I have had in the Savannah area. My daughter got the Gluten Free Hawaiian and enjoyed it. One of the better local pizza places. My biggest issue is that I called in my order on my way home from work and was told 30 minutes. No problem I ran to Ace Hardware picked up a couple things and showed up at the 30 minute time. The order had not been started and I was told 15 minutes. I ran another errand and came back. When I came back I was told the order was just made and needed to go in the oven and would be ready in 10 minutes. There seemed to be ample staff and people were busy. I get it it is Friday night, my issue was the communication. I will likely give another shot but that was a frustrating experience.

I’ve had a disgusting cheesesteak, calzone, and sadly, pizza. A parent LOVES their Italian sub. Only reason so many fails have been tried to make a palatable meal.

The waitress brought our pizza to the table with this long strand sticking out. At first I thought it was cheese but I realized it was a hair. I notified the front desk and they looked as if I was crazy so I pulled it out to show her it was baked in the crust. They didn’t say anything and just took pizza back and remade it and sat it on the table. If I wasn’t pressed for time and so overstimulated we would have left. The service was substandard. Please don’t believe the hype about this place.
