What an amazing fine dining experience, everything about the location was carefully detailed on the site(reservation only) and the experience was exquisite! The courses were slightly different from the ones posted online but that’s to be expected and only enhanced the experience. The dishes were absolutely divine with amazing presentation and otherworldly flavor combinations! The portions were good and the meal is worth every penny. Definitely bring your own pisco so they can make sours, they’re delicious! The service was great and the staff was extremely friendly. I genuinely can’t wait to go again! Best food I’ve literally ever had!

One of the most memorable Valentine’s dinner, ever! Our hostess and the entire staff were top notch and intimate with our food experience. Perfect portions with exquisite unique flavors from the Peruvian culture; something my wife and I have not yet experienced. The food from the location of Puerto Callao will always have a place in our hearts. Thanks Chef Puerto and team!

This was such a wonderful experience. I am a picky eater and each course was such a tasteful experience. Absolutely worth checking out. The experience didn’t stop at the food, either! They crafted perfect pisco sours and such a lovely ambiance.

The 6-course prix fixe was so impressive! Everything was fresh and surprising, the ceviche is definitely the shining star. You can tell how much thought and intention goes into the menu, it’s not just a meal it’s an experience. Definitely try the chicha morada drink, so good! A Baltimore gem

Hidden gem near the city center. Flavorful food of high quality which is beautifully presented. Puerto 511 only offers a prix fixe menu of either 5 or 6 dishes (depending on the day). Plan for a 2 hour dining experience as service is on the slower side but the food is well worth the wait!

Incredible, unassuming Peruvian restaurant in Baltimore! We did the weeknight tasting menu and loved all 5 courses, particularly the ceviche and anticucho. Highly recommend bringing your own pisco like we did as they’ll make you pisco sours. Will definitely be back!

A very cute place with sincere food and I greatly enjoyed my visit 🙂 It’s hidden in the corner street and you’ll have to find the white door and ring to get in. Great tasting menu with a reasonable price. Every dish was well thought-out and full of details. The dishes were generally on the sour side, which I greatly enjoy, but if you don’t like sourness it might be too much. We also ordered chicha morada and I really liked it. The service was attentive while not disruptive. I also liked the interior decorations!

Amazing restaurant hands down the best $60 meal I have ever had! You will have to ring the buzzer to get in. Every part of the 5 course tasting menu was delicious!

Excellent and authentic Peruvian food – you’ll leave with revelations about potatoes. I’ve been trying to recreate his leche de tigre at home for years. Still haven’t succeeded.

It’s an ever shifting pre-fix menu, so you’ll always have the thrill of novelty combined with the certainty of success.

The interior is, unfortunately, painted millennial gray, but it’s got lots of cheerful art and they’ve fixed the lighting, so it’s still pretty pleasant to sit it. They don’t refresh your cutlery between courses.

Chef Jose Victorio Alarcon is immensely talented and very personable. He trains people well, so even when he’s not in the kitchen, you’ll get food at his quality. He also operates the much more casual EMPA511 in Fells Point, which is an great place for a very efficient and delicious lunch.

The cutest little restaurant with amazing and flavorful food. This is a spot you want to come to if you don’t like to be rushed and have ample time for dinner. You should expect about three hours for the entire tasting menu, as the restaurant is set up to feel more like Sitting in an oversized kitchen, chatting with family. A place for time doesn’t exist, but food, drink, and all the flavors take over.

The BYOB option is pretty great, and would absolutely recommend bringing your own Pisco so that you could enjoy a pisco sour. Would also recommend the in-house purple drink (chicha morada) it’s so unique, made with purple corn, and yet has the sweetness of juice.

The hospitality is fantastic and would come back again in a moment. Would absolutely recommend a reservation, though for a weekend. Unfortunately, those without reservations had to be turned away due to the demand for this spot.
