We hiked Pickett Post mountain and decided to come into town for lunch. This is a nice place to eat and the food was really good!! Fast service and we got to sit outside with a great view of Apache Leap. I recommend this restaurant if you are in town.

This place is small town charm, nothing fancy, but I give it five stars as the service was with a smile, place totally decorated for Xmas, and the food was fantastic! They smoke there own meat right outside so you can smell it- divine I had the smash burger which is make from ground brisket and made ” in house”. Burger was so flavorful! Came here for late lunch after hiking at the Boyce arbatorium, just a short drive to Superior. Definitely will be coming back!!

Unfortunately the food was not very good. Brisket was dry and chewy like Griswold gnawing on the turkey. The potato salad lack flavor. I add sauce to both to add moisture. Did visit in Sunday so maybe that makes a difference. Service was great and very polite. Atmosphere was ok for a Saloon type setting. Won’t be going back any time soon.

My husband and I had our wedding reception here and it was nothing short of perfect. Everyone LOVED the food and it keeps us coming back and back again, all the way from the valley. The staff is marvelous and the food is the best BBQ we’ve ever had. This is the perfect place to go eat after visiting the arboretum up the street!

It was fun. Quaint downtown Superior, AZ, smokehouse with nice outdoor seating, friendly people, quick and easy. Order at the counter and they bring it to you. There’s an indoor area with a long bar, but that will be for another less sunny and gorgeous day!

Best BBQ I have ever had. Ate too quick to take a pic. Fresh & tender & juicy w delicious flavor. “Counter Style” service but very friendly. As a bartender from PA, I was surprised to see my margarita being poured from a tap. The bartender took the time to explain & show me the instruments she uses, to creat e a pony keg of fresh margaritas. And the coleslaw was good too, thick shredded & lightly dressed

We came here on a recommendation and were so impressed! These were the best fried pickles I’ve ever had, and the fries, smashburger, and pulled pork sandwich were all amazing. The weather on the patio was perfect in late November.

The kind of place with horrible to zero service and then, ya know that kind of service that is deliberately unhelpful, condescending, and emotionally immature? Well at least the fish is soggy and the “spicy” sauce is a boring as Phoenicians. Can’t be recommended for any aspect, not even the false front mining history, or half the kitchen out in the dining space.

We just had the best time at the Silver King smokehouse. Great ambience, fabulous service, fun, homemade craft cocktails, and a good beer selection. Then of course there’s a barbecue! You can’t go wrong. We highly recommend stopping in if you are in Superior. My husband got the silver King barbecue sampler. He was very happy with his choice. I tried the green salad with fries and coleslaw on the side. The fries were awesome with the barbecue sauce–a vegetarian hack for eating barbecue. They also have a veggie burger that’s your style. Our server was really fabulous, very friendly and informative.

I came here to eat, ordered 3 sides + drink, just like I did last time. The lady working, she asked if I wanted to keep my tab open, I said no thank you, that should have been the end of that transaction. That’s not what happened though.
I get to the end of my meal, I order a pound of brisket and a pound of pork to go, an additional $60 odd some dollars. I ask if I can pay it down with cash, so I hand her $60 in cash, she takes it, I pay something like $13 total with my tip from my original order in the beginning after the $60. I’m really happy I grabbed receipts, otherwise I would have absolutely no proof that I handed this business $60 cash that has magically disappeared because they’ve had a pending charge of $68.46 on my account for over* a week now. It was more than that, a $10.15 charge has already posted.
When I noticed this issue, they were closed, I went there on a Sunday, I emailed them on Monday (8/4/2025), they never responded, it’s now 8/11/2025. An email to clarify what’s going on would be nice. So far they’re just holding my money hostage and I don’t like it, I’m going to dispute this charge with my bank here pretty soon.
I don’t know what the hell they’re doing, I don’t know what this charge is, I don’t even know why I was charged this much if I paid it all down with cash, the original charge was like $78 – it should have been like $13 total since I paid $60 cash first. Right now I just feel robbed and it sucks, because the food was good, the town is a good 40 minute drive away, otherwise I would have been there this last weekend instead of here in my review.
It would be nice if this wasn’t an issue in the first place.

Incredibly fast service, food was out within a minute or two.
You pick your own seat, when you’re ready to order, you walk up to the front kiosk and they take it, and then it’ll be out shortly.
I ordered 3 sides for lunch, no meats, but I had a frontline view of the kitchen window so I could see how fast they were moving for everyone else and it was FAST. I ordered green chili mac and cheese, coleslaw (slaw), and house-cut fries (think shoestring fries). I put some of their house BBQ sauce on the green chili mac and cheese and it was absolutely delicious, they should honestly make a BBQ mac and cheese variant with their BBQ sauce in the mix, maybe add some brisket.
I got two water cups, easy to refill, great padded seating, they have a bar you can sit at, or a large outdoor patio situation. My food was amazing, even though it was just sides, it tasted great, and it was hot. Loved it. I would drive 40 minutes out of my way again just for some sides. Great prices too. It was like $14.23 with an 18% tip included, not bad, great quality.
– One thing to note, the fork situation is plastic but that’s okay.
