Definitely recommend reservations.
Service was disjointed and inconsistent. Not because of the use of menu cards which the servers oddly did not check for. Being small plates, ordering, especially with a group, is done in waves. But still the servers were not attentive.
The food was very good in style and execution. Drink menu is diverse and cocktails were very well made.
The decor is stylish but the converted house makes for unique layout.
I’d like to return to see how they fare on another night.
The food was excellent, delicious, and punching with bold flavors. There were garnishes, there were juices, there were clean plates left and right. Just when you think you know what you ordered, you will become transcended by a flavor never before experienced by civilization! They weren’t lying, when you walk in this establishment, you’ll be met with BANGing flavors.
There are plenty of GF and vegetarian options on the menu (see photo of menu). It was a wonderful experience and I would love to come back over and over. If you are on the fence – you should go there right now.
The atmosphere was 8/10. I think it could be great but something about the inside feels “meh”. Maybe start by lowering the lighting and comfier seating. Maybe more art on the walls?
Anyway, I really enjoyed my experience and I would recommend.
Server was experienced and very familiar with the menu, patient, and offered good recommendations. Our two issues were that she suggested 3 items/person and that was way too much food, and the food came almost all at once and not staggered.
Drinks were great. Lots of variance on the menu.
Menu offerings were very good and sizes were large. Our favorite items were the drunken noodles and the beef and broccoli. The second favorites were the ravioli and spring rolls. The firecracker shrimp was good but not a standout, and I can’t remember the 6th item we ordered.
Eating here was definitely a good experience. We will return…we just need to remember to order less.
Favs were tuna crispy rice, chili garlic chicken noodles, tempura sweet potatoes, Korean beef spring rolls and duck ravioli.
Update: Was there last weekend for a date night and it was amazing! I usually sit outside but we sat inside this time and the vibe was good. We ordered way too much food for two people 5 plates and 2 buns, we were stuffed and had a little food to take home. The service was good, sometimes it can be hard to get more drinks or water but we didn’t have that problem this time. Our favs this time were the tofu bun, firecracker shrimp and tuna crispy rice.
For dessert, the vegan cashew spring rolls with coconut cocoa sauce were an excellent finish—light, slightly sweet, and very well executed. Overall, the food felt creative, fresh, and well put together. A wonderful spot for dine-in, and we’d definitely come back.
We ordered from the vegetarian menu and tried the Mushroom and Sesame Tofu Buns (mushroom was the standout), General Tso Cauliflower, Goat Cheese Dumplings, and Tempura Sweet Potatoes with Feta—all were delicious.
Mango Mule and Bourbon Ginger Honey cocktails were strong and tasty.
For dessert, the key lime cheesecake had a nice subtle lime flavor and it was pretty good
Our server, Cameron, was helpful and provided great service. We sat outdoors and place had nice decor.
Highly recommend!
