We had such a great experience! The service was fantastic — our waiter was awesome — and the food came out quickly even though it was 6:30 on a Friday night. Everything we ordered was delicious: the karaage, tiger prawn roll, edamame, tempura mozzarella, and mochi for dessert. Loved it all. Highly recommend!

Great food, nice atmosphere! Ryan was our server and they were very kind and checking in with us. We got the Mozzarella Tempura, Double Crunchy Roll, Alaskan, Sashimi Sampler, Baked Spicy Albacore, and the Kumamoto Oysters. Everything tasted delicious, and quick service.

1st time here and the place is decorated nicely and food was good really good. I got the Washington Specialty Roll & the 911 Specialty Roll.
I do feel mislead with the 50% off rolls in the name on Google, as well as their website promoting it but was notified that it’s only during “happy hour” from 3-6 which is nowhere stating that. The screenshots I took show what I am referring to. I understand only the specialty rolls are 50% off which is what I was going to order.
Overall great ambience, food and service but definitely mislead so beware.

Visited several times before the pandemic and quality has definitely declined. Sashimi slices are noticeably thinner now compared to what they used to serve. The 50% off rolls deal is decent value but doesn’t make up for the reduced portion sizes. Bit disappointing for those who remember better times.

This is our favorite sushi spot since COVID. We’ve dined in but most frequently taken out despite the 30 minute drive.
My SO and I have tastebuds that are both sensitive to even the slightest smell of the ocean, so most fish is out of the question. This place prepares it perfectly, and is one of the very few places where it doesn’t taste fishy.
We only had a mixup one time where they misunderstood our order and gave us garlic albacore roll. But it was so delicious, we didn’t even bother calling in about it. I actually took a photo to ask what it was called lol. It’s our second favorite next to the firecracker roll.
Lastly, the servers and chefs are always nice and courteous and super helpful with suggestions. We have never had a bad experience!

I ordered the beef sukiyaki and two sushi rolls. Sushi was great! I got spicy salmon and spicy scallop because the hostess suggested I get it. The side salad was great! Amazing dressing and so refreshing along with the miso soup. My main course is always my go to when I come here. The sukiyaki is so flavorful and fresh. Definitely would recommend this place

First and foremost the negative reviews, you all should be a shame of yourselves. This is my first time here and I’m highly impressed not only with the service the atmosphere but an establishment who actually serves fresh fish and actual sashimi portions. It reminds me back when I was growing up in Tokyo. Fresh fish is the best especially when it comes to finding the right places. We ordered the soba, ahi tuna, deluxe kosian bento, sunimono, agedashi tuna. Ryan was our server and he did a great job assisting us. The entire staff is very attentive friendly and also kind. Did I forget to mention, the establishment is well kept and clean. The decoration is esthetically pleasing.
I would highly recommend this hidden gem here in orange if you are a fan of fresh fish. So hard to find. Don’t let the negative reviews stir you away. they definitely take care of you here. BTW ty Ryan once again

This has been an old favorite in the hood for many many years. One good thing about it is the fact that Ken the owner has carried on a tradition that Sam started many years ago serving fine fresh seafood, all done very uniquely their own way. They’re Bonta is very unique and highly recommended.
