I love McMenamins overall, and Milk Creek is no exception. The servers are helpful, the vibes are calm and immaculate, and the food may not be anything mouth-explosion amazing, but it’s good food nonetheless! I especially loved the plants all about inside and out.

I wish there was a better customer service. The restaurant was almost empty and the waitress made us wait ~30 mins just to order food.

My family and I used to really love going to this place. The people at the bar often are very colloquial and kind as well as very intelligent. What I find most disturbing is how the overall management of the company does not care how managers are running their individual establishments. I had a major complaint pertaining to one of their managers, and I’ve had this issue with multiple people managing their Millcreek establishment over the years, and the overall management of McMenamins does not seem to care. You don’t matter as a person who patronizes their businesses. They’re more concerned with alienating individuals who have come to their business for decades and listening to their concerns, unfortunately. There are multiple people who have left concerning remarks like this about the Millcreek establishment and yet McMenamins does not seem to care. I would never go there again or tell my friend‘s family or colleagues to do any business with them unfortunately. As a business owner. I can’t understand how they operate a business like this…

Good lunch and a nice flight of beer. Another reviewer called this a “local McMenamins”, that’s the best way to put it. It’s not as grand as the other locations, so you might be disappointed if you’re a fan of the brand and traveled a bit to come check it out, but locally, it’s a great place to grab a bite and a beer.

Mill Creek is nice! Having a great neighborhood atmosphere and a place to stop in early/late for a comfortable experience and a newly crafted brew is what we all treasure.

McMenamins roots are in British and Irish ales, and some like Terminator are perfection, while they have the trademark lighter raspberry Ruby Ale and Purple Haze boysenberry fruit beer too, but they sure are trending to American NW styles.
The Mill Creek brewery is making strides on their IPA’s but also McMenamins in general is one of the few breweries that flexes their wings in many, many styles so there is always something new that is great to try. The fact that all the McMenamins breweries create new brews and share them across the locations is a huge plus for us and Mill Creek makes expert choices in filling its very large number of available taps.
This spot is not the best atmosphere from the outside at first glance, but the inside is nice McMenamins with the big old carved wood bar and many of the servers are excellent! Sitting is great on a warm, sunny day in the afternoon, and outside is the secret al fresco spot in Mill Creek. (｡•̀ᴗ-)و ̑̑✧
