Dropped by the Twisted Carrot as it was on my list of places to try. The restaurant has a great bar made of what looks like reclaimed wood along with industrial pipe shelving. The overall atmosphere and guide was brilliant. We started with the sweet potato deviled eggs and we had to order a second batch because they were so good. I had the Reuben, which was one of the best Rubens I’ve ever had and my partner had the Philly, which was really good. At least the bite she allowed me to have. We ended it with the banana carrot cake which came out sitting on the frosting with candied walnuts, and it was warm and it was out of this world. I want to go again in the evening and try their dinner menu.

Great lunch experience! Loved the PANZANELLA Salad with chicken. The MOO MOO DIPPERS were also an app that I truly enjoyed! The burgers were good, I did feel that the bottom bun was a bit on the soggy side though. Overall, great cozy spot to stop for lunch!

I recently tried Twisted Carrot and sampled a few of their standout dishes:
Not Your Philly – served as an open-face sandwich, the bread was perfectly crunchy and the Philly filling was absolutely mouthwatering.
Is Your Name Reuben – packed with generous slices of meat, hearty and satisfying.
Lamb Burger – incredibly juicy, bursting with flavor, and easily a contender for my favorite of the night.
Moo Moo Dippers – decent, a nice side to round out the meal.
It was honestly hard to choose between the Philly, Reuben, and Lamb Burger since each had its own unique appeal.
On top of the food, the service was excellent—friendly and impressively quick.

I thought this was good but not amazing. There’s definitely limited space so if you come in when it’s a busy time you have to sit at the bar or wait for a table. I did like that they had gluten-free options like the risotto which was not a normal thing that you find.
I think that the food was definitely good but I wish that it had more protein with the salmon. I also think it’s a little overpriced. I enjoyed everything i had but i wouldnt come back again. Worth a try for sure.

We got the recommendation from the border officer when we entered US from Montreal. We ordered Take a diver to share and a lamb burger with salad as the side. Loved the scallop and fried brussels sprouts, so tasty!! The sea scallop was just about the right tender, and the fried brussels sprouts were just about the right crispiness. The lamb burger was delicious as well. Among the two, I loved Take a diver more!
While sitting outside was lovely, the hygiene was a bit of a concern as we saw a few flies flying around our dishes. We understand it’s hard to assure the streets are clean etc., to make the outdoor sitting experience nicer. It’d be nice if the restaurant can help find a way to improve the situation.

We had a really sweet server who was kind and funny and just made sure we had a great time. Our food came out so so fast. Now to the food. My meal was last meal on earth worthy. I wanted to hug the chef (and ask them how I can recreate this at home)! That good! We had the soup, panzanella, carrot cake and the star – street corn risotto with fried chicken. BEYOND! Go and order this – incredible.
Drinks were also so yummy! Busy little spot and I now know why.

Absolutely awesome! Heard of this place through the grapevine and so glad we went! Our server (didn’t get his name) was very amicable, knowledgeable, and personable. We had the Twisted Potato Cheddar Ale soup, Southern Comfort chicken sandwich, and Not Your Philly sandwich. All of the food was served quick and at the perfect temperature. We will definitely go again when we’re back in Plattsburgh!

Small, quaint, lovely restaurant. It was so good! The bar was full, and tables were full but they did have some open outside. They were so welcoming, took their time explaining the menu, very friendly. We got the Hearth (bread) board, fish and chips, and garden greens with chicken. It was delicious. I would highly recommend this establishment when you are in the area!

In Plattsburgh on a business trip and I asked the subreddit what restaurants they recommended. It was an overwhelming response to come here and it did not disappoint! The Chocolate Upside-down Cake is an absolute must, my god. I’m going to dream of it until I can get it again. I also love the daily rotating deviled egg. Such a fun idea and the Bloody Mary eggs were pretty good! Our server was also great! She had a good vibe, and the rest of the staff seemed to as well! Highly recommend to anyone visiting or local to Plattsburgh
