A beautiful Thai restaurant in central Sheffield. We had a starter selection (for 2 people), a caramelised sea bass, fried rice with prawns and pineapple (served in a pineapple), and 2 Tarn Thai Royale cocktails. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. Very good service too!

I went with some friends a bit ago and it was quite pretty we had the whole place to ourselves. I ordered some kind of curry prawns which were delicious and the rice in the pineapple..(i forgot the proper names sorry x) the pineapple rice was inedible im not a picky eater but i couldn’t even swallow the first bite it was the most disgusting thing i have ever tasted in my life and my friends had the same reaction.. not to mention the price of it please avoid it tasted like sewage and I payed for everything and didnt even touch it after many attempts of trying to like it. I have no idea why it tasted like that. Staff had an odd passive aggressive vibe aswell. My friends had the pad thai which was okay but definitely not great. Presentation was nice

We had a great meal here recently after having not visited for a while. The food was great, the fish cakes being a highlight. Attentive service and reasonable prices.
I would only say that the starters could be slightly larger at 3 pieces.
We did go in early so were the only people there for a while which was a bit lacking in atmosphere but I guess it means we got served quickly!

This place should have a higher rating as a Thai food lover for me and my partner Tarn Thai has been the best in Sheffield having tried others. We should have taken pictures to upload but started eating as soon as the food arrived. The staff are really lovely. We had a chat with the head chef who appears to take the orders so dishes are made to your liking. Service was fast and the food amazing and very fresh can’t recommend enough. The staff even gave us recommendations for our upcoming holiday to Thailand. We will return whenever we fancy Thai food. We got 4 starters, 3 mains, two desserts with 4 drinks and the bill was 125 and worth every penny.

Wow is the first word that pops in my head, I came for my 6 year anniversary for the first time last night. The entrance is stunning, the restraunt itself is beautiful. The service we received I have to say was the best I’ve ever had in Sheffield the staff were so polite, friendly and helpful Now the food, this is hands down the best Thai I have ever eaten the flavors are incredible the portion sizes perfect and the presentation is stunning, each dish hot and full of flavor, I had a mock tail which was also amazing. I would recommend to anyone and will be returning. Advise booking to ensure you get a table.

Ben and I were kindly invited along to try a magnificent feast at Tarn Thai recently, the glorious food just kept on coming. Everything was superb and delicious, we especially enjoyed the mains – the Pad Thai and Lamb Shank Massaman blew us away, and the Tom Yum Soup was divine. Fine dining Thai food at modest prices especially for the high quality of the dishes. The lovely restaurant took us by pleasant surprise too as I’d never been before and it’s very beautifully decorated.

Lovely Thai restaurant! Friendly and accommodating team. Unfortunately I am not a big fan of spicy food, so both starters that I ordered were quite spicy (papaya salad) & salty (squid) for me even though the salad on the menu was indicated as mild spice.. enjoyed Thai beer and atmosphere though

It was amazing! I highly recommend it. My favourite dishes are the stand-up sea-bass, crying beef and papaya salad. It genuinely felt like I was eating in Thailand.The authenticity of the flavors was incredible. Definitely will come back again !
