Stopped by Spice Palette and had the best experience at the bar thanks to Nicole. She’s incredibly attentive, has a great energy, and makes a killer cocktail (the presentation on the drinks is 10/10). It’s rare to find a spot where the service is just as vibrant as the food, but Nicole nailed it. If you’re heading in, definitely grab a seat at the bar and ask for her—she’ll take great care of you. We’ll definitely be back!

Oh. My. Gawd. Everything about this place is worth 6 Stars! I had the Mulligatawny (perhaps the best I’ve ever had!), the Lamb Rogan Josh (perfect spice level, spiced for flavor not just heat), the garlic naan was hot and full, and the mango lassi brought the whole meal together.
Service was over the top, maybe even a little too attentive, I showed up at a slowish time. I’m in town for a few more days, hope I can get back there!

Dinner at Spicy Palette was a treat for my palette! I love the ambience of the restaurant. Full of bright painting the reference the colorfulness of Indian culture.
I had spinach and homemade cheese dumpling on top of honey tomato sauce, crispy cauliflower florets in chili soy sauce (love this dish), crispy okra as the appetizers. For the main course I had the lamb madras and it had a rich flavor and spice to it. The main dish came with naan and our table had plain, garlic, and rosemary naan all so good.
I also had the mango lassi and its mango juice super addicting and delicious! They also serve Rupee beer and I love that this beer has low carbonation and it was so perfect with Indian spicy food. The Rupee beer came in 3 differents flavors, mango wheat ale, India pale ale, and basmati rice lager.
The service was also on point, they made sure we had our drinks refilled, food, and cleared the table.
I recommend this place.

I traveled to India a few months ago. Since returning, I have been looking for authentic Indian food here in Charleston. So glad I found Spice Palette!! Hands down the best Indian food in the Lowcountry.

The service was amazing, atmosphere was great and everyone loved every dish we ordered.

Can’t wait to return!

Spice Pallet is absolutely amazing! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and full of authentic Indian taste. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients in every dish. The service is just as great friendly, quick, and always professional.

We’ve also ordered catering from them several times, and it’s been consistently excellent everything arrives warm, fresh, and delicious. It’s rare to find a place that delivers both quality and consistency every single time.
Spice Pallet has definitely become a forever favorite in our restaurant rotation. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves great Indian food!

Spice Palace is such a hidden gem and Mount Pleasant is lucky to have it. The food is fantastic. While I admittedly don’t know exactly what each menu item is, the descriptions are clear, concise and you honestly can’t go wrong. Some favorites are the garlic naan, garlic chicken, shrimp, and the cauliflower appetizer.

Service is always top notch. Some of the items can be a little dish heavy and the servers do a great job of clearing away and replacing the sharing plates.

Great for a date night, great for a family style dinner for more than just two and the leftovers you’ll have are just as good standing over the kitchen sink eating them the next day.

My son and I have now been to this location twice while on vacation. He is a big fan of Indian food as am I.

Each time I have found the serverse to be very attentive. The menu has many more items than the Indian restaurant that we frequent in our local area. Located in a Strip mall, includes several tables, comma and a bar area. Parking can be somewhat difficult when it’s busy, particularly a weekend.

Overall, we both enjoyed our meals, several variatinos of naan bread to try. I had the lamb chettinadu I did not enjoy as much as the dish I had the first time I was there. I would probably rate it a four of five. Not that it was a bad dish, it just wasn’t as creamy and sweet as my usual choice.

Overall if you like Indian food it is a good place to try

I’ve visited this place a few times, and it has a nice ambiance that truly captures the feel of a traditional Indian restaurant. Their appetizers are consistently excellent and full of flavor. However, many of their entrées are disappointing—either completely tasteless or not resembling the dish they’re supposed to be. The biryanis, in particular, are quite underwhelming. On the brighter side, their mango lassi is absolutely delicious and worth trying!
