I first fell in love with this store when I was in college, in the 90’s. They were located in Alberta back then.
There is a reason this has been a Tuscaloosa favorite for decades now. The food is great and the prices even better.
I don’t have a favorite item to order. I like variety and the varieties I’ve had here have always been pleasing. Soups, Crab Rangoon, Veg & Spring Rolls, and so many entrees.
Lunch specials are good, filling and don’t break the bank. Dinner entrees are big enough to get two meals from.
If course, you can get together with friends and share.
They are quick preparing orders, but I also keep a menu in my glove box so I can call in my order in advance. It’s nice being able to walk in, pay and pop back home to eat.

Honey chicken looked like real fat noodles with chick-fil-a sauce on them, the rice had some white stuff in it, looked like toilet paper. I’m not eating that.

They open at 12:00pm according to their sign on the door. I and three other customers stood outside in the cold over 15 minutes waiting for them to open the door. Watching someone walk through the restaurant and not acknowledging we were there. Customer service is trash. I could never see paying customers stand outside of my establishment knowing how cold it is outside. I eventually left and I will not be back. The message your business sent me today is, you don’t want my money.

I ate here a few years ago and it was amazing. While in town I decided to try it again. Not good. Honey chicken was trash. Sauce was so thick and bland. Rice was bland. It was also not warm and I ordered it fresh. Won’t be back…

On Thursday 03/27/24 was my first visit to this restaurant. I was checking online to see who had good Chinese food in this area. I ran across New China Fun. I looked at the reviews and pictures and it looked like the style of chinese food I get back home, so I figured I would give it a try. I ordered the Shrimp Chow Mei Fun, to play it safe because nobody should be able to mess noodles up, lol. But, oh my goodness the shrimp chow mei fun was excellent and it tasted really really close to like home. I really enjoyed it, when I come back in town I will definitely be trying some of there other entries.
We also tried the Philly cheese steak roll. Sorry, but this was not the good at all. It just tasted funny period.
When I got there it was clean and the food that was cooking smelled good.
Will definitely be returning.

I’ve been to probably 50-60 Chinese restaurants across the country and I can guarantee that this is the worst I’ve ever been to. I’ve got a curry chicken and boy I’ve paid 11 bucks just to get 2 pounds of onions dumped on my plate. While the chicken was fine, I’ve barely got any pieces. The rice is a joke – added a bunch of color and pale in taste. Also it seems like leftovers. The woman who took the order either does not want to be there or just did not care for my business.

I had a small family gathering on Saturday and ordered dinner from this restaurant. We called in a decent sized order, which was cooked quickly and to perfection. I picked it up and went home to enjoy my food. Let me tell you, it was delicious, and the portions were large enough that I had leftovers! I would highly recommend this location( next to Winn Dixie at 5 Points) for fast service and great tasting food!!

The rice and General Chicken taste like armpit. Out of $20, I was able to eat the won ton soup. I drove back to drop the food off, didn’t want it in my hotel trash

Chicken tasted terrible. Fried rice was terrible. Took a gamble try this place for the first time and I lost. Do not recommend!
