Cider is not a favorite of ours because too much fizz and not enough apple flavor. However, this place has many many options to try. The server, Valerie, was knowledgeable (so we picked the right ones to try) and very friendly. She knew where the apples came from and how each one was made… or did a great job faking it.
There is a nice seating area with a view of the harbor. See pics.

Cute beach harbor vibes and GREAT cider! I hear even if you’re not big on cider you should stop by (cider is perhaps my favorite, even more so than wine). Our service was great and we really enjoyed our flights!!

Had a great experience. NOT a cider fan, at all! Came away a convert. Like my bourbon and rye’s. Really enjoyed the Blueberry and Old Fashioned. The Margarita was so good, we came away with a growler.

This has to be some of the best if not the best cider I have ever tasted. Each had a unique flavor and the colors were beautiful. There was no fermentation taste to the cider whatsoever. The atmosphere was great and inviting. It is just two doors down from their winery. The only drawback… I can’t get it in stores in Washington State!

Advice: Sit at the bar, don’t sit at the inside tables. I love this place. It’s a laidback place to have a good drink whether it be cider, wine or bourbon/whiskey. My only question is why are the tables so freaking wobbly? It increases drink spillage…which causes clean up time and drink replacement cost. Crazy that a nice place like this has so many wobbly tables.

Went in winter, wasn’t crowded and the patrons that were there seemed like patrons. It was a very cozy atmosphere, Valerie was a great hostess. Will be going back.

I prefer Von Stiehl ciders more than Island Orchard ciders-I am not a heavy cider drinker or expert and feel these two are different from each other. For me Von Stiehl’s is smoother (to give a perspective). My two favorites Tequila and Bourban, you can smell the tequila and bourban pulled from the barrels. Fall season Pumpkin is very good. My daughter can taste and smell the vinegar in these ciders, I couldn’t.
Note: you can only get growlers in the Cider Bar. You can get bottles but only where they have the wine tastings which closes much earlier than the Cider Bar. They are full growlers.

Edit: We have now been 4 days in a row since we have been in town. Jen is also AWESOME! She is so personable and fun. Do yourself a favor. Go here as often as possible. Love it!!!
This was our 4th or 5th visit to the Cidery… we were so excited that Valerie was behind the bar when we got there. She remembered us from a year ago, and made my daughter a lemonade to go… (which she’s been talking about since last time we saw Valerie) My wife and I tried a couple flights of the ciders, and the new ones are FANTASTIC. My wife’s favorite is the blueberry cream, and I loved the new rum runner. Valerie talked to us about the tour (which we haven’t drive yet) and told us about all the new spirits. She’s super knowledgeable, but more importantly super friendly. The only downside of this trip is that we are here for 3 more days, and Valerie is off! Go get ALL the ciders, and ask for Valerie because she makes it an even better experience!

Loved this place when it was a local brewery. Times change and things get bigger. Now the cider/cocktail bar is a perfect fit. Great atmosphere. Great drinks! Highly recommend when you are in the area.
