Great taco place, they got this one dish called the Espada, which does say that it is a 20-inch tortilla folded in half, but for some reason I didn’t clock what that meant and I was SHOCKED by the enormous mega taco I got. It was quite good, however, and I debased myself by eating the entire thing in one sitting along with a cup of esquites. No regrets. Great spot, everybody should check it out, go crazy, get the Espada!

One small issue is that the online ordering system might not be working properly. We ordered three tacos but only received one, and we thought the restaurant forgot our items. Turns out the system only charged for one taco even though all 3 appear on the receipt.

Delicious tacos and friendly service! In a sea of chain fast food, Apple Valley needs more places like this! I tried three tacos: pollo, barbacoa, and lengua… all were delicious. I’ll be back for more!

Ordered two steak tacos yesterday & received them with no onions, no cilantro &. the meat was dry & hard. They put the meat on the side with the tortilla on top. Very sloppy! Not to mention I was mugged down by an employee there while grabbing condiments for my tacos (this is not the first incident I’ve been mean mugged) Honestly, this establishment doesn’t seem African American friendly & I will not be returning.

You pay $10 for these three bean tostadas with a super thin layer of beans. It’s as if each tostada has only half a teaspoon of beans. I removed the toppings in the photo so you can see the thin layer of beans.
Why not make two tostadas with a decent layer of beans instead of three with only half a teaspoon each?
The rice tastes like it was cooked with just water and a dash of tomato sauce, lacking any flavor. Or as if it has been reheated with water every day until all the flavor is gone.
There have been a couple of times when the food was good.
Your place is clean. Your staff is nice. Your food can taste so good if you stop being cheap.
Remove one tostada if you are trying to save money. Make smaller batches of fresh rice throughout the day. Reheated rice from a restaurant is gross and is hard.

If I could give this place 4.5 I would. First time here and had a great experience. I ordered online and it was ready for pick up when I arrived by the expected time. The little staff interaction I had was positive. The food was very good. Shredded street tacos were a little spicy imo but I am a baby when it comes to spice. I still enjoyed them, they had great flavor. The shredded beef American tacos were excellent. The guac was good, like 95% avocado, no onions or tomato chunks taking up the whole thing. Quesadillas and chips were satisfactory. Everything was worth the prices. Overall I would highly recommend checking this place out.
Edit (one year later): I recently went back and was highly disappointed. The quesadilla didn’t come with sour cream anymore and the chicken quality has gone way downhill. They didn’t even give me limes with my tacos. Unfortunately I will be dropping them down to a 3 star and will not be back.

The tacos were tasty and the meat/protein was generously provided. Just wish they’d serve the tacos with the standard 2 tortillas. But still a great place. I’m certainly going to go back for their quesabirria because I missed it on the menu and only saw it after I had already ordered my tacos and my drink
